They don't seem to be affecting the plants, they look like a cross between ants and termites....

lol, SE..

There's maybe 10-15 in view running like beheaded chickens...I've sprayed and it seems to kill them within seconds, but not sure where they're coming from.

I THINK they're from a garbage bag with some diapers in them ..was in room for about a week...when I moved bag out, i noticed a couple bugs on the floor... I've seem 1 or 2 traverse the leaves yes, but don't see any physical damage (bitten leaves, or any bites or anything else)

It's just funny/aggravating, I spray and kill 20 of them, when i come back the next day, they're cousins are there...

i've NEVER seen ants in my house or yard the year and half i've been here...NEVER..not even during the summer...the only ants i have seen were about 6houses down, and they were fire ants...

This critters, are anatomically built like ants, but have clear looking abdomens...head and thorax and very ant-like though...

Some kind of funky ass translucent ant.
At least they're not messing up your plants, but I would still want them gone.

looks like an ant that jus molted or a termite that go out and start new colonies

I looked it up. Sounds like a Ghost Ant. They need excessive moisture and can usually be found in kitchens and bathrooms........OR growrooms.
Usually found in south to central Florida. Not to give away locations or anything, maybe you travelled there and brought some back. Yea yea thats it! (edit: guess you already mentioned that, haha)

They should have a musty odor when smashed... try it!

Also I read you should bait them instead of spraying. With eating baits you can eliminate the entire colony and not just those you have seen. Then again they dont eat vegetation but they will eat other living insects, maybe beneficial? But I would kill them.

Is this it??

YES! Thats those little little fuckers! Ya, they parade around in the room, and every once in awhile will traverse a plant, but haven't seen any harm done to the plants from them....so... but I do still spray every once in awhile..lol...

I wouldn't spray, it will only kill the ones you hit. You should get some kind of bait killer. The kind Dunkydunk suggested should work good.
With bait, they will take it back to the colony to share and they all will die! Not to mention I wouldn't want to spray anything strong around my plants.

Good Luck,
Buds
