Portable vaporizers?

I am looking to get a Vaporizer for medical purposes and I need it to be portable. I would like to get some honest opinions on vaporizers that don't need to be plugged into the wall. I don't have much experience with any kind of vaporizer.

I tried to search the forums here and could not find anything about this topic, but if I missed something and you know of a link that would also be appreciated.

the most popular choices seem to be:
magic flight launch box
iolite
vapor genie

all have their pros and cons. I have the mflb, it is good, but I wouldn't want to use it exclusively. if you are new to vapor a good tabletop is where its at, don't get discouraged with the learning curve of the portables.

this forum has all you need to know about vapes www.fuckcombustion.com

Good explanation Don... thanks for sharing that man.

That's a 404 bobcat.

I've tried a few of the popular vapes: MFLB, Volcano, Vapor Brothers, Purple Days, IoLite. My friend just got a magic flight launch box and I LOVE it. The perfect portable vape. In public you can hold it like an asthma inhaler and nobody will look twice at you. It's also less than 1/2 the cost of an Iolite, has no electronic components and comes with a lifetime warranty.

It's extremely well built and runs on 1 rechargable AA battery. For $10 more it comes with a battery charger. Throw in a AA battery car charger and you're set.

As for table top vapes, vaporbros is king in the $150-180 price range IMO.

I am an owner of both a V Tower Extreme Q Vape, and the portable Magic Flight Launch Box.

I love my Extreme Q, but portable on the go vaping with the MFLB friggin' rocks!

Also, I can get lit up in most places in public or vehicle, and if I use it discreet enough, nobody can tell a thing. I can even use it in the movie theater or at a concert.

It truly is an awesome piece of equipment, it just takes a little time to master. Also, make sure you do what I did and get 2 extra batteries, at least.

I have researched all of the suggestions so far. They all seem to be pretty well received.
I appreciate all of your opinions, keep them coming.

Iolite- vaping some purple power at this moment. Mine is actually an older version of the Iolite called the iInhale. I've been using it for over 3 years now. Still works great.

I like the Volcano too but it's the most NON portable vape on the market.

I'd love to have a vaporizer car accessory where I pull a tray out, put bud in, close the tray and just inhale from a tube going into my dash.

I'd go with the magic flight launch box as a portable.
If you need something with a little more punch you'll have to get a plug in. For me the launch box works fine for when I'm on the go.

I can get a lot more punch out the MFLB by vaping kif or ground up bubble mixed about 50/50 with finely ground weed. ( it can glue itself to the screen if your not careful, so be careful. use a fresh battery and don't let it cool down until its done. if your screen does get gummed, run a battery through it and brush it out. be very gentle with the screen.)

I use the Extreme Q as my daily driver. it is fantastic.

here is my MFLB when I got it. its so shiny

They keep improving the Iolite, but I'm still happy with my second-generation model. Awesome stealth toker. Elevates just fine!

The main reasons I want a portable are 1) my wife has fibromyalgia, so it's better for her health wise. 2) to go outside and vape when needed etc.. But since there is way less smell that may not be necessary, but I don't know. Can anyone chime in on the smell issue?
