Hey Everyone!
I was thinking about making a trim station with one of these screens that I could separate trichs that fall off buds. I found this link on IC a while ago. I dont remember who posted it so sorry if you're reading this.
http://www.miami-aquaculture.com/screen.htm\
The idea would be to have a collection tray underneath the screen and then I could clean the dry sift even farther with my bubble box (3 screen sizes). The whole thing would be contained in a box with handles that can be moved easily from the table to my lap.
Now the question is what material screen and what size? The bubble box's top screen is 140 microns so obviously nothing smaller then that. I was thinking around 150 microns. Maybe even a little larger although the polyester is the only material they have 160-200. I trim wet and think that the trich heads would be a little more swollen at that point then on the dried product?
Maybe something like a stainless steel screen like on the tumble now trimmer would be a little more durable then whats on that site. Any ideas on where to get steel screens measured out by microns or lines per inch (lpi)?
Lets see what you all think!
