Building a hempy stadium... What containers should I use?

Hey all... I m gonna screw around with a hempy stadium system 8'x10'x7'tall room. 2 1000w MH/HPS bare verticle bulbs. Im cleaning out the room and getting ready to insulate. What kind of containers should I get? Do I need a drain tray? I dont want to grow monsters, so I am leaning towards 3 gallon buckets. Any other options? Grow bags, smart bags? The easier the better. Lemme kno!!

PS... Im trying this because I want to go with stadium with my big room. Currently have a 48 site ebb/flow bucket system, but its a lot of wasted space. Id love to go stadium in there, but bucket system wont work unless I have 3 separate control boxes and more rez space. I just want something simple, and I have the time to water every day/ every other day.

i'd go with 2 gallon square containers in an overflow tray for drain off to a catch pan . the only problem is finding 2 gallon containers with no holes in them . i went with 1 gallon food storage containers that i found at walmarts ... clear with blue lids that came in packs of 2 for 4.98 $ . i'm using six in the smaller cement mixing tubs from homedepot . have 2 trays side by side on a home made stand . with a drain in the bottom of each for runoff . ( haven't acctually built this yet but have all the materials here to do so in the next few days . have to wait till my current grow finishes in mid december to put everything in my space ) mine will look something like this when finished except for the rockwool & hydrotron .

Damn... That looks like a ebb/flow tray system... I dont have the room for that. Im looking at a three level stadium setup with verticle bare bulbs. I need to know what kind of containers, and something to catch the runoff during fill. Maybe just a 3 gallon black bucket, and a cheap plastic plant bottom thingie for each bucket? If i have my head correct, a hempy setup requires you to water plants until you have a little runoff from the hole maybe 1-2" from bottom of pot/bucket

Anyone else? Grow bags.. or do they leak too much. Am I limited to the 3/5 gall buckets? Are there grow bags without holes? Are there bags set up for hempy setups?

just go to the dollar store.....and buy cheap rectangular waste baskets....they will fit nicely side by side...and work well for U'r setup

grow bags...smartpots and the such will not serve U'r purpose.....
they are not sealled enuff to hold liquid at there bottoms...ie....the resivior...to hold the nute solution.......in the HEMPY.....passive Hydro concept......remember hempt buckets only have ONE......small hole on the side.....about 2 inches up and thats it...........

dollar store.is cheapest.....hitup...several in the area.and find WHAT willl fit the best........

I just picked up a half dozen 3.2g. bathroom trashcans from wally world for 2.50 ea.
