Scrog Experts Help Needed: What Size?

So I have a PC and a small dresser going I plan on flowering. I'm about to sex and scrog. What size mesh should I use? I have several metal meshes on hand. Or does it not really matter?

Dresser: Squares can be 4"x4" or 1"x4" (rectangles) Probably try to jam between 2-4 plants in there.

PC: Squares can be 4"x4" or 1"x4" or 1"x1". Probably can only jam 1-2 plants in there.

Pics and dimensions are in my signiture.

Thank you very much for your reccomendations!

my vote is for 1x4.

4x4 is a little too big and 1x1 is too small for me. I like to be able to pull branches back out and reposition them once in a while.

I use screens with ~2x2 holes, they're some kinda closet organizer thingie...white metal screen squares that snap together with little plastic corner pieces and form cubes..they work awesome.

It's not only arbitrary, it's optional. You can do the same thing with LST using no screen at all. Personally, I went with 1" plastic mesh. 99.44% of the time, it's fine but, once in a while I want a bigger hole and plastic is easy to cut. I certainly wouldn't go smaller than 1". Seems to me that 4" would be better for a big ScrOG with big plants. In a PC or dresser, I'd think 2" would be as big as I'd go.

Thanks for the quick replies!

Stealth: I tried to get 2x2, but lost patience and got what I got.

Freezer: I'm doing LST now, and I find it to be a pain. I'm probably going to tie down a few main branches first, then put in the fence above that.

For the dresser I took the 1x4 and weaved wires through it, so now it's 1x2.

For the PC I'm going to go with 1x1.

i use rectangular holes and it can make it easier to move branches around and have them emerge from a different hole, so 1x2 sounds good. 1x1 should be fine for the pc but dont be scared to cut out a wire here and there if you need a bigger hole to move a branch into.
