Try as I might, I cant find any ebb and flow buckets that is 240v only the 120v kind for america. Does anyone run these buckets on 240v? Or am I forced to get an american one and use a step down transformer?

Only thing I could recomend is following the tutorial in her for building a controller but use 220v capable relays and wiring, I'm no expert but someone could chime in on specifics. . Thn plug in pumps that run on 220.

Thanks Huge, I kind of figured as much, I have seen ogre and krypto's DIY thread which is very good.

HC, thanks but a was actually talking about the flood and drain buckets like this http://www.pchydro.com/grow-systems-complete-systems-c-14_35/ebb-grow-bucket-system-p-3535 The one on your link is a top drip system.
I am glad that you posted on this thread. I have been lurking on your thread for a while, I love what you doing with your "High Country Mist" and sorry to hear about you borg woes. Yeah you are exactly right about the ebb/flow table being simple. Im running two 3x3 tables now but I want to switch up to buckets so I can grow trees. I loose too much head room with the table to grow trees. The plant numbers of running sog has my nerves on too much of an edge, plus my cloning has been hit and miss so far. So I want to try something different.

Sounds like you may have to do a DIY. Use standard ebb/flow fittings, cheap as, hoses etc, just make sure the buckets are above the res and let gravity do the work for the ebb cycle. Sounds interesting. I like to draw up a plan when doing new hydro techniques. You should be right. Show us your trees.

Hey HC,actually with the ebb and grow buckets the buckets sit on the floor, the same level as the rez. so instead of one pump there's two, one in the rez to flood the buckets thru a controler bucket and one pump in the controler bucket to pump out the water for the ebb cycle.

Here is my two tables which is really just a medal bed frame that is 3x6 that I made a plywood tray on top of and used plastic to cover and waterproof it. There is a divider in the middle to make it into two separate tables. I used pvc screw endpipes for the fittings, a rez underneath and its ready to go. I know its really ugly but it works well, its easily made and cheaply done.

been running these tables for about three years doing sog 25 plant per tray, so I know it works well. But right now Im just trying to get away from the high plant count of sog. The tray on the left only has forr plants that I scrogged and the tray on the right has 9 plants. They were all started from seed though at different times because I lost all my mothers.
