Going back to Cali? mabe..I Hope.

So I have finally talked my wife into that we should move to cali. I'm orginally from the Bay Area (redwood city) but im looking to move up to gold country (somewhere around auburn) and looking for some info on local Leo's stance on medical MJ. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Nobody? The county's im looking at are El Dorado, Placer, or Nevada. Guess any where in cali is better than where i am. Dont plan on going to hydro stores or any dispensary in the area. My biggest concern would be if i bust off a 10k grow in my basement would the local utility company rat me out. I read some article saying the sheriff in Placer County donated his own money against prop 19. So mabe not there. Even though i would really like to live in Auburn since i have family there.

Why not keep it legal?

And why move to outdoor heaven to do indoor grows?

I understand you have family there, but with an anti-weed sheriff, you will be moving into his jungle.

Take a look at Sonoma county. IMO, Sonoma has the best county guidelines in the state - 30 plants per patient. The sheriff has come out and said he thinks it's going to be legal pretty soon, so enforcement really isn't a priority.

Still very affordable in comparison to the Bay Area, and much better weather than gold country.

County limits were ruled unconstitutional no? Sonoma is beautiful so +1 on that. I would just make sure wherever you move you don't think you are safe. Go ahead and put a lawyer on retainer because you could get popped in Sonoma or LA or anywhere else in cali.

I think of Calif as the wild west of the Cannabis movement..Get a Medical card or not just mind your own business and don't be greedy..GOOD LUCK

Yea, Im pretty good at minding my own business. I currently live in a red state (even though we have med laws) and really doubt even another grower/smoker would catch on to me. I'm a cowboy boot/hat wearing, big truck driving, with NRA stickers on bumper looking dude. Even though i'm a liberal my neighbors think i'm a hardcore conservative.

I would like to grow outside but its more important to me to be undercover even in cali. I probably get some horses, chickens, mabey a pig, and a veggy garden. Neighbors can think im a good ole country boy and nothing more.
