Vape, which are best?

Hello --- a female friend of mine is getting a vape for xmas, but she dosnt know what to get.

She wants;

Portable
NOT Butane powered
Under $300

and most of all, reliable

I posted the link because you will get different answers from different people about the same vape,It is personal choice,and with out being able to try them all out it's hard to pick one that suits you and your lady
I would personally steer away from the magic flight.

we have smoked a Volcano 1 time.... we both agree the high was "too airy, not enough Oomph to it"

i think she's smoked a few other vapes as well

You have to take that into consideration before dropping $200.00+ into something you may not like.It's a hard choice brother.I am sure others will chime in with some helpful insight.Vaping is a different animal than "traditional" smoking.Good Luck to you and yours.BC

seems to me to answer the 64$ question....whether or not they are worth it...it's a gift right?
imho they do not relinquish that great of a 'high', something that smoking does quite well, but is rather hazardous.
spent a couple Cs on a tower and it accumulates dust in the garage because of the difference; and i'm one frugal mf too. just so happens that i like the high associated with my first high and i'm not willing to give that up yet. cough as i will, its a joint or a joint in conjunction with another method of ingestion...............yeah thats what did it!
get xtra whips...they become clogged with usage; if your gf is convinced of it.

she's just looking for something to try and cut down a Little on the impact on her lungs... shes not looking to convert entirely to vaping, but wants a solid device to use when she feels like it

MFLB sucks imo... Tiny hits, and vapes unevenly. They instruct you to "sip" it, if that gives you any indication of how small the hits are.

The screen design is neat, near instant use, but because the whole trench pack isn't in contact, some material inevitably gets over vaped before the bowl is really killed, even if you keep it nicely stirred between hits.

I think it's only real advantage is the extremely small size. It's like, the worst functioning, but most stealth vape on the market.

What is the issue with butane? I really think the Iolite is the best portable vape overall - decent hits, and very stealth, like iphone size. Butane is just used to heat the element and never passes into the air path, so like, does she not want to use butane at all, or does she not want a lighter powered one like the vaporgenie?

And just how portable does this need to be? Can it be a plug in vape that is just easy to transport?

she doesn't want to use a lighter/butante/flame, or she "may as well be smoking a bowl, even if the flame dosn't burn the weed"

which is understandable. she's not trying to stop smoking, but wants a nice vape for when its very cold or she feels a cold coming on, etc etc

something easy on the lungs that can be pulled out the pocket and used.

on the sip thingie...that just means its hard to hit! don't be fooled by all the hoopla offered up by the manufacturers.
i've turned lungs inside out trying to hit a vaporizer.
also, the second or third hit is extremely expansive, so beware.

Sounds like the iolite is the way to go. The butane is just used to power an electronic heater, so its not one of these flame or torch driven ones, which I can totally understand your girl wanting to avoid.

We picked up an Arizer extreme Q for $125 or so wholesale, an external 19v power pack for $89. Haven't had a single issue with it despite multiple drops, shocks, spills and assorted other insults.

It works great, but it IS a bit awkward for travel. Great for the camping trip, not so much for a night out on the town.

Your question was, "Vape, which are best." My opinion is Volcano by a landslide.

LoL come on people get real. If you were a scientist you'd be outta work my friend. You are doing yourself a great disservice by dismissing the Volcano with 1 smoke.

But, vaping isn't for everybody.
