did you buy it off someone who just robbed someone? 100 bucks for an old system and all the games seems pretty damn cheap. the only old school game systems i still have that didnt get tossed are the N64 and Sega genesis Nomad....

DUCK HUNT AND EXCITE BIKE FTW!!! I grew up playing that system and I really would like to pick another one up just to save for if I ever have kids. Shit I would still rip some duck hunt and super mario.

!!!!

that looks awesome

also brings a tear, back in my younger days, I had a super nintendo with all the old school games, two controllers, and that game boy thing where you could play the game boy games on the TV..that was sweet. Well long story short, parents had a garage sale while I had left, they had some neighbor help that basically just started selling off my crap as they thought my room was supposed to be sold...so weak. I don't even wana rant about the other crap they sold but basically bitch neighbor let go the nintendo with all games for ten Fckin dollars...yeah ten dollars...

the neighbor was so retarded she forgot to give the person she sold it to the adapter cord...the buyer had the balls to come back and ask for the cord! i tried explaining that the idiot who sold it didn't have the right to sell it, I tried to give back the ten bucks for my stuff but they wouldn't take it!!! never got that system back. material things reallly don't matter but damn that sucked.

I sometimes see old nintendo's on sale at geek gamer stores right next to the atari and sega saturn/genesis. Shitty because they get worse and worse quality and more expensive as time go on..the hardest are the games. that's why I was stoked when I found emulators and roms..so much fun, all you need is a USB nintendo remote and you are good to go.

It was a good 'ol craigslist find. Guy was about 35-40 and had stored it in a barn for 20 years.. I about shit myself when I saw the games still in the boxes. The ones in the boxes are complete, sleeve, games, instructions, advert slip and the foam spacer piece..

I am also on the prowl for the super Nintendo's in the boxes too. Start getting before the NES craze spills over to the SNES and N64 etc

Great Find bro. You should enjoy that.

A buddy gave me a NES emulator that runs on my Mac, with 500+ games.
Championship Sprint, Double Dribble, Contra,Tecmo Bowl.....loads of fun at airports and downtime at work.

gettin all nostalgic....great thread

I would frown against alcohol, windex if you cant take it apart. In that case an eraser works best.
.maybe thats why the damn games would take so much cleaning....shouldve used windex...23 years later and now i know...

BeardedClam, good score!

For anyone else thats looking for an nes but doesnt want to hunt down a classic system google "yobo nes" its a new system that plays old nes cartridges. The yobo I got plays both nes and super nes games in one system and I think i paid like 30 bucks for it locally and it comes with 2 controllers.

Thats pretty cool. For anyone who wants to do this at home you can look up the torrent on tpb for Nintendo, Sega Genesis, and Super Nintendo Emulators (one at a time obviously, its not one torrent). They work great and I even programmed the xbox usb controller and another usb controller for old school play.
