what will give the best yield 2k on light movers or 3k without them? They will be lighting up a 4x8 space. both would be using air cooled lights

2kw stationary is really all you can do with that. 3K is too much for a 4x8 IMO. Can you go any bigger than 4x8?

the room is larger than 4x8 so yea. i am gonna go bigger. i was doing 2k on a light mover before but the yield was shitty so i was thinking of ditching the mover to get more height and more light

I have never used a light mover, but I have been thinking about buying one lately. Obviously the more light you have the better if you have the room and adequate cooling. I vote go 9x9 or so with 4k if you can

no point using more than 50w per/sq/ft unless using co2.

Are you planning on air cooling the lights on the mover? Thats what i did but it was a huge pain in the ass... If youre not worried about temps thus not needing to air cool the lights... i would say light mover for sure.

It wasn't all that hard to hook up a mover & ducting. I use it, works great for me.

In that setup it looks like it works wonderful... but ducting not coming down/up to the ceiling / multi lights / moving further distance was a pain in the ass. Eventually the ducting would rip

TY. What kind of ducting did you use.? Was it reinforced or regular. I ask because the reinforced seems to be holding up like a champ while I had nothing but bad luck with regular stuff constantly ripping.
