Looking good Cheeb! You gonna get a nice weight from the 1800! :)

Got the same goggles here!! :D They really look cool!! And save your eyes as well :)

Lol, we all have the same goggles :)

Cheeb, for all the time and work you've put into your grows (they're all lovely, BTW), you've gotta plunk down some cash and get a digital pH meter (IMO) - strips are not cutting it at the level you're at.

But the grow is lovely and I like running horizontal vs. vertical in your tents, great idea.

Great looking grow!!! Those ladies sure have put on the weight!!

This made me cry,I was laughing so hard!!!!
Hilarious bro!!
Much love to my fellow ICMAGGERS.
Picked these up. Gotta protect the peepers. These things shot my coolness up to about an 11.

Cheeb - beautiful grow! As you know from the blumat thread, I'm using them in tubs of straight coco. Well, I'm getting some really pretty buds, and fast - but they're skinny and funky looking. I'm wondering if I might be keeping it too wet, I'm not getting any runoff but the medium is staying wet pretty much all the way to the top (the tubs only have about 6.5 inches of actual medium in them.) Do you have anything mixed in with yours? How wet are you keeping yours? I've been using the peters hydroponic, which others are using with no problem but think I might switch the res out to 6/9 tonight, r u still using the bloombastic? How much and do you feel like it's clogging the drippers at all? Thanks friend!

I agree I just got a new Oakton ph meter and I'm lovin it, I found out I wan't getting the accucracy needed with the strips or drops, best thing I've done beside swithcing to coco

Wow.... Subscribing for sure. Awesome grow and simplicity on a whole other level, regardless of running an all-in-one mix or not.
Nonetheless, I'd be interested in the quality/quantity difference in the organic soil mix, opposed to the coco w/ nutes. But awesome growing man. :tiphat:

Wow.. thanks for all the replies!

Pictures seem to make em look bigger then they are in real life.
Hoping for 2.5lbs or more... but "anything is plenty mayne". haha

Motta-Tokka,
Those bulbs glowing? I just hit the switch to cut off the lights and these are "cool down" pictures. Does look pretty cool..didn't even really notice it before.

Bob Smith,
I actually do own a Hanna GroCheck Combo Meter HI9813-6, but it stays at the house where "my" grow is.

EC Truncheon went to the Stadium and these Tents were left with nothing but drops.

These tents featured in this thread as well as the SWC stadium in my sig are merely builds to help some very close friends. They mostly came together using whatever gear I had available from constantly changing my mind/setup/style...aiming to put my stuff to use while keeping new purchases to the very bare minimum. They dont have much cash at the moment so its pH drops for now.

The individuals that live above these grows really don't have to do much as I've made them auto watered and as simple as possible...once a week add water/nutes..thats about it aside from transplanting and trimming.

I'd like to put a few continuous tri meters in though to have quick glance readings. Christmas is right around the corner so thats the plan...just hope it doesn't lead to any headaches...

If one actually checks the pH drops regularly I gotta love the reliability of a Bluelab Truncheon paired with some pH drops. <- makes hydroponics SIMPLE!

overmyhead,
Did not use any Bloombastic this run...wanted to see what yield would be like without it and to see if I could avoid bud rot completely... Seems I've been holding my breath when using bloombastic hoping not to get rot in some of the larger colas.

Take Care guys, got an assload of "work" ahead...

Happy Holidays!

Howdy cheeb! You said you are just pulling air from the surrounding basement, but how does it get into the basement? I'm setting up a similar wattage grow in a basement, and wondering if I will have any problems, it's a 3 y/o house so everything is sealed up really tight. 43N so it's cold & dry outside 'round here. I'm thinking pulling from the house would be better for lights off temps.

Leroy,

I don't really have any actual intake in the basement for fresh air to get into. I just suck air from the basement, through the tents, and send it upstairs. I imagine air just gets in somewhere naturally. House is from the early 1900s so its not really sealed up like new homes I'd guess.

I've lost track of where I'm at here, but going to get a scope over there tomorrow and hopefully harvest time is any day now.

I'll actually be discontinuing these tents/grow after a final picture update.. Its unfortunate, but I've created some complicated situations which I think would ultimately lead to my downfall if I don't quit it... Not this particular situation exclusively, but what I've been doing as a whole.

Its been wearing on my mental health, my personal relationships, and its time to pull the plug before things get really out of hand.

I broke rule #1 long ago and cannot go on knowing other people's mere carelessness could end everything I've worked for. Time to take a break & go underground and regain a sense of security.

That is what's best sometimes man. Sometimes it's okay to trust people and let them know what you're doing, but letting them know WHERE it is another, (something that I will NEVER do again) This is my re-emergence after a 3years hiatus....

Sometimes it IS necessary...I've always looked at it as, when your heart, gut AND mind all agree on something...RUN WITH IT!

Be safe Cheeb...esp if you live where I do...Security is of the UTMOST importance.

As unfortunate as it is... you're already a million steps ahead by knowing this all. You've grown some awesome buds, but it all ain't goin anywhere anytime soon...Not if we have anything to do with it! Best of luck sorting through it all to find your way back again! :tiphat::ying:

Tent 1 came down - hopefully 3lbs or more...but who knows - will post yield in a week or so when its dry. Filled a whole dry rack. Trimmed from 2:30pm to 11:30pm with 3 people - a 4th helper came later on.

Tent 2 looking fat, but dont know if I can get the same yield w/ 8 plants. Didnt veg long enough I think, but still look great. Will get pics up sometime soon.
