Odd Hermie problem..

I am currently midway through week 3 of flower. I'm doing a scrog, which is currently out of control, but that's a whole other problem.
Anyways, I have three sour diesels on a flood table, and one of the bastards decided to start throwing male flowers. Oddly, it's only on the main shoots and is not happening on the smaller branches. It's been early enough so I am able to pluck the nanners, but know for a fact I'll never find all of them.

My question is why the sporadic nanners? I know it's not environmental because it has only happened to one plant, so I have narrowed it to genetics. Also, if I pluck the nanners will they grow back?

Thanks in advance for your knowledge.

I don't think that's the issue, as I'm running three different plants of the same cut and only one is doing it. The fourth wall is poly, and I'm using a plastic zipper which isn't entirely light proof however, if that was the problem, the plants in the front would be the first affected. The hermie plant is in the rear (aka the darkest part of the room).

It has to be genetics, but why is only one plant doing it? It makes no sense!

i'm doing a grow with the same kind of hermie, male roosters are just on the junction between a bud and fan leaf on the main stem
from my reading, this is plant that had genetic hermie traits
that just 1 plant hermied sounds a bit odd, but stranger things have happened

How are you solving the problem? I think im going to salvage all I can by plucking nanners. I may end up with a few seeds here and there but thats much better then throwing away a months worth of work.

well, i was warned by some grow logs that i might see this with the strain(brainwreck)
i tried to pluck roosters, but gave up, too much work to keep up with
so i let ride, the hermie blooms look to have been sterile or didn't create too many seeds
won't be sure till i harvest, the blooms died down after a while

Ok, I think I will follow suit. I only noticed nanners, next to the preflower pistils so maybe the transition was a stressful time.

good luck, if your hermie flowers are dieing down, you may be able to keep them plucked
there is a product from Dutch Master, think it's called Reverse, supposedly will knock down hermie flowers and stop their future growth
haven't used it, i do see discussions of it from time to time
it may be too late for it now, but might be something to consider in future grows
