i have this 300cfm fan and casing out off 110v microwave

M20
97069CLF
120V -60Hz
80W 1100min-1
6uf250V
o.72A
3.06

Fan has 3 wires. it does not turn only wants to, and gets warm.
Is it because its 110v/220v?
With 110v i would need capacitor right?
it came out off 110v appliance but i have only a fan,
how can i wire it?

thanx for help

if you wired it to say a lamp cord it should work, will it spin if you kick start with your finger,if so maybe its just gunked up,clean and oil

the fan looks like it wants to move
i tried to accelerate by hand it but it dont work
it came out off microwave that looked brand new, it had burned smell, but it was not out of motor- motor looks pristine- no grease.

fan casing is already fit into the grow box, so i would like to keep this option.

i know some fans need additional piece of electronics- some sorts of capacitor that might amplify the power in the pulsation manner to bring it to 220- or to the operating speed

I might be mistaken but please help- project on setback

..i know:) ..for that blink effect!
sorry no pic at this point but for sure final creation will be documented incognito

its a squire cage type (i think that its called)- not cheap inline type.

motor is heavy cast pressed onto louvers mechanism. those fans are extremaly low profile (build for microwaves), but put out about 300 cfm's good pressure air....rest information on top of the post.

well i might stop an electrical motor place but any additional info appreciated
thanx guys/gals

i always figured it was dangerous to mess around with a microwave.does it not "store"radiation inside a componet

You need a 6uf250v cap for it to work (uf stands for micro-farad go figure)
FWIW the vent fans from ng water heaters usually are easy to work with

hello

thanx for follow up guys.
i have received all the info in other electrical forum.

thanx growshop"....-indeed fan it will need 6uf 250v capacitor
2 wires to fan motor
1 of two to capacitor and to the third wire

fan works mainly 110v (3 wires)and gets multiplied power every other revolution or so to 220v (third wire)

you can alter speed by using different capacitors like 2uf or 4uf, but it might alter life span of the fan (thats how speed controllers for ceiling fand are made)

capacitors are dangerous!!

i dont know if the rest of microwave holds radiation or anything like this, but i already frankensteined it, and even got few earth magnets to create ormus.

too bad i have trashed that capacitor---too late i have to buy a new one.

thank you all for input
