Green Crack or not?

I picked up this clone over a year ago from a LA area dispensary. It was labeled as Green Crack. Ive grown it out several times and it is some damn fine erb.

To the best of my knowledge, it is Green Crack, but everyone that smokes on it disagrees. Some very knowledgeable people say its more like Matanuska Tundra, Cheese or something else, not Green Crack. These people ALL think its better than Green Crack. These are dispensary workers that have seen multiple batches of Green Crack and smoked ton of it.

Here are its attributes:

- Done very early (42-50 days max)
- Extremely resinous, tight buds
- Def Sativa dom hybrid
- Buds reek of sour apples mid flowering
- Very citrus, tangerinish flavor when done
- Not an overpowering high, but solid functional daytime smoke
- Above average yeilder

Sounds just like Green Crack right? Here are some pics. I think it looks just like GC too.

I know its tough to tell w/o smoking or seeing some dried bud shots, but what do you think?

LOL yup she is very nice but everyone here has different cuts of her and I have had amazing samples of this one.. Green Crack reminds me of Purple Kush as far as the high perhaps not as strong as PK but pretty close.. These two are my fav to date..She does finnish early and the smell isn't over powering but it's great smoke.. peace out Headband707

I thought there was only one true cut of green crack aka cush. I think some guy named cecil from georgia popped the bean back in the 90s.

HH: Yeah thats what I think too. Its funny how all these pros are so sure its not.

Just saw some really nice green crack the other day. It was very sweet smelling herb. Almost neon green with vibrant thick orange hairs and tons of tricomes.

Agreed. Both that it's an elite clone only originating from CecilC in Athens, GA, and that your plant is it. Looks like you have her pretty dialed.

The smell and conical bud shape are distinctive enough that I'm surprised so-called dispensary "pros" were doubtful. Maybe they're so used to the B grade trash they peddle that they got confused when confronted with a proper batch...

Thanks for the kind words. This is my third run with her and this batch is looking super danky. Some of the more resinous erb Ive ever grown. This girl gets so heavy with the density that she needs lot if help staying up late in flowering. I chopped her the last couple times at 45 days but will let this batch go 50.

This is what Ive been thinking. Judging by the samples of what Ive seen over the last few years, most the dispensary GC is crap.

that is 100% green crack. without a doubt. Whoever told you otherwise doesnt know what they are talking about. The leaf characteristics in that first shot give it away to me.
Youre description is spot on too!
Even tho she can finish mid 40's, i think shes better early 50's.

Good job with her!

Thanks guys. I'll direct the dispensary workers to this thread next time they tell me its not GC and will post some dried flower shots in a couple weeks.
