4 plants in one 5 gal bucket, I'd find a 24 hour walmart. 1 plant per bucket, get a good nights sleep and find a pump in the morning.

WHen the air stops in dwc, you have 12-20 hours, depending on temps, plant health, and the do levels you run. You can add air manually every few hours by taking a bucket of the res water and pouring it back and forth from bucket to bucket 10 times, then add it back to the res.

Correct, cold temps of 68-72 and agitation will keep your plants alive. The goal is to see bubbles form on the surface of the water, this will increase DO. I think the temps and water movement will work for you in the pinch.

Sorry to hear about your cheapo sunleaves pump. I have two that I use for res circulation for the last 2 years, the small 160gph pumps. They looked cheap, didn't want to put them in anything critical. I replace my pumps every year, or less. Probably a good idea if they are cheap enough right? That said, 2 years of running two sunleaves pumps, no failures. I even bang them around a lot, they take my abuse ect. :) I suppose in water circulation mode with no back pressure they will run longer.
