600W HPS VERTICAL GROW - BLUE MYSTIC & SUPER SKUNK

First pictures are a blue mystic leaf and the top growth. They still have 10-15 days of veg left unfortunately.

Next are of one of the first super skunk tops largest, and one of the smaller tops. All 9 super skunk start 12/12 tomorrow or sunday.

The four largest super skunks were too big to be under the T5HO light and some leaves got burned, 3 or 4 tips. They were put into 3 gallon pots. Pictures are in 1 gallons, the roots, the burns. The last two are how it sits now. the 2 haze seedlings are in 1 gallons and will do 12/12 from seedling in 1 gallons as a yield experiment.

The one largest blue mystic is under a CFL, the other four will go under the CFLs tomorrow when the super skunks go in the tent. The T5HO wont be in the room anymore. Doing a 5 plant four week perpetual with the CFLs. More tomorrow!!!!!

Thanks man! First picture. Just tied some big fan leaves down to get light to the lower parts of the blue mystics. Second picture. The Tent is all set up and running minus the hps bulb, that comes later today. I moved my small fans to the center blowing up at the bulb. I figure air movement should still be good, i have 1 vent in the back open for an intake, and a 6 inch duct fan exhausting from the top. All the fans stay on 24/7, the four 2ft T5HO corner lights are on a timer with the hps light. Update later, super skunks switch to 12/12 under 600watt hps!!

All 9 of the super skunk are under the hps. Also the 3 seedlings in one gallon pots. Now we watch and wait to see growth,and sex. The T5HO is out of the room and the CFLs are on the other side now. The 5 blue mystic are under the CFLs. They will be going into 3 gallon pots tomorrow, and vegging till i chop the male super skunks. (5-15 days). More tomorrow.....

Its 11/29, the 5 blue mystics are in the tent. In only two days 5 super skunks showed to be males. Now im looking at between 5 and 9 female plants total. My guess is 8 total, but anything can happen.

Starting at the lower right corner going clockwise (left), SS1-SS2-BM1-BM2-BM3-BM4-BM5-SS3-SS4.

One more positive male identified and chopped. Now its 8 max. 5 BM and 3 SS.One of the 3 SS isnt showing enough, the other two are looking like females but ill probly find out tomorrow. So maybe 7 total. According to a vertical growing foot candles chart. 10 - 26 inches is the optimal zone for big dense buds, and at max eight 3 gal containers. My max circle in the tent is 28 inches diameter, and i should be able to keep the plants 10 inches from the bulb, that means i should see some good results with this setup. More later.

Looks like 7 are showing female preflowers, and 1 i cant tell still, but give it a few days and we shall see for sure.

One more male showed. Only 2 super skunk left and 5 blue mystic. Hopefully i get all 7 of these females but again we will see. They are getting tall, ill take some pics once i get a definite final plant count. Ill always double check my orders, and make sure i get only female seeds.

Again another male super skunk. Now I see 5 BM and 1 SS, proof that feminized seeds are the way to go.

The 5 CFLs for veg are 42 watts each, so 210watts total. Flowering is done with one 600 watt hps.

This is going to be another perpetual, 10 plants total, so i will harvest 5 plants every 4 weeks. The next 5 to go in will be nirvana's master kush, then 5 nirvana's white rhino. All feminized.

Im gonna take some pictures today, after i feed them.

Ive been leaving the fan part of my a/c on in the room to bring in cold air and my tent its 72F with the light on, and 62F with it off.

Its day 6 of flower for the five BM and day 8 for the one SS, and the three 1 gallons.

So its day 12 of flower for the super skunk and day 10 for the blue mystics. I did some trimming to minimize shadows. Also I tied the super skunks 6 tops in a wall form, so they are all equal distance away, to see how it reacts. Its just some string around the stem and thumb tacked to the pot.

Update Time.....Loving the pistils, see them on 5 of 6 plants.

The blue mystic in the rear center of the picture hasnt showed sex yet, but most likely being this late it is a female.

The two hazexkush 12/12 from seed are looking more like a kush pheno, but they are still tiny, time will tell.

It is day 14 of 12/12 for the blue mystic, day 16 for the super skunk and the 1 gallons.

Second picture is some blue mystic clones taken a couple days ago, revegging as possible mothers. Only one will be kept as a mother.

Ill also be keeping a mother from the super skunk and the master kush.
