Where o where am i to find this AFGHANNI PINK clone I once had from further down the island,

Im getting close, but obviously not close enough because i still havent seen her yet, im aware theres a couple of afghan pinks in new zealand, however this one was made in nz over 10-15 years ago and its tops would turn pink around week 7 or 8, and has that old afghan flavour of honney garlic, umm''
Some folk will say thats the one which hairs stay white up till harvest at week 8, commercially yes, infact it takes around 9wks flowering to brown off etc,

Well any input here would be a blast from the past really, makes me wonder if these made it over the Tasman or not, im sure one of the 3 breeders of this plant was Australian,''? il have to double check next time im way down below...

Hi dugg, thanks for this info i really appreciate it'

And now i think i can put 2 and 2 togeather and now it makes me think my mate was full of shit about breeding it with his mates, i remember when i first got hooked on the breeding game and gave me pal some f/1 clones, he asked me why they only had one or three leaves and so on, well for someone who breed a plant all those years ago should no this already, i bet my suspicions are right'

cheers,

thanks for the link, very informative i must say, ive been looking for info like this, just not enough time to look in the right places i guess, think il go straight to map 4.

On page 19 of that document they talk about a strain having a pink red stalk that produces the highest quality resin. The locals appear to give it many different names however throughout the entire country a strain called Mazari is the most popular, 58% of the total crop is this strain.

Perhaps this is what you are looking for. It's probably a very indica dominant strain.

It would be an interesting place to visit if they weren't shooting everyone. I wouldn't go near the country, just way to dangerous.

Interesting, the strain I grow does the same thing. Stems start turning red/pink from clone. Mazar would definitely be related to Mazari, the Afghan local name. I have suspected this for a while, I think the strain I grow has Afghan origins. I wonder what the Moroccan shit is?

Hi - This is grand info right up my ally so to speak, Mazari would be worth checking out alright, il phone me mate laden and find out aye,ha' - however, man i love this word, however i think visiting there now might be okay, yeah ive been hoping and waiting for a trip there for sometime now, another year maybe'

You no alot of farmers in afghan land and places like mexico are now starting to gro out dutch heavy yielding brands, and like everywhere else on the plant are crossing these with there pure land races, probably trying to cut down on the flowering times with heaver yields id imagine, thats why we need to go there asap to help preserve the landrace, but yeah screw being shot at all the same.

ps: I had some mazar sharrif plants last year that did the pink red thing on the stalks and some purple leaves in the end of the cycle,
I didnt like it though'

Sweet photos high country,!

And yeah the colours are very simillar or same to the ones i grew out a year ago, spider mites loved myn too much aswel,

What product do you use for spider mites, i always use= AVID' its a high concentrated chemical that blows those mites away for roughly 6months atleast, and thats with out cleaning the whole room or rooms out, im told by the shop i get it from there not supposed to sell it as its a farmer only kinda thing, need a license to purchase it i think, yet its the only product ive ever encountered that works the best, doesnt affect the plants in any way either,

Yeah the one or three leaves are usually f/1's taken from seed mothers aye.

I use a sulphur based spray normally but was to late on this occasion. I was away when they attacked so culled all my mums, they were to far gone. I have heard good reports of Avid, I have an Agricultural Chemical Users Permit so it shouldn't be to hard to get.
