Help me figure out AN Calculator

Heres my info. My girls are about 36 days old since the first time i planted the seed. They have been getting 22/2 cycle light. I need to add nutrients now(shouldve about 1 week ago) since the bottom leaves are starting to turn yellow. I have Micro, Bloom, and Grow as my base and also have voodoo, b52, big bud, and overdrive. Seems like what they have up on their calculator on their website dosent equal to what the bottle says.

Im thinking of doing 4 week veg and 8 week flower

The calc is designed to use as much product as they can sell you.
The bottles have directions of when to use the stuff and give you a baseline for use. I usually recommend using most of their products at half strength. I mix by TDS or PPM as AN's notorius for inconstistent batches. B-52 can be used from the onset. DON'T use it in the transitional period.
3 part shouldn't exceed 800ppm in decent tap (under 300 ppm) or RO with 175-250 ppm of calmg+ added prior to adding anything. Micro has the highest ppm and should always be added to conditioned water. Then add your bloom at twice the ratio of the micro. If you feel you need the grow, use it at half of your micro. For instance I use 6ml micro, 9-12ml bloom, and 2-3ml grow. It's really not neccesary though. Voodoo is used from the moment roots are present with a carb product like carboload or molasses. A little carbs go a long way. Voodoo is used as recommended 30ml. I use it until I run out or at least 2 weeks through bloom. Transitional phase (1st week of 12/12) I run equal parts 8-8-8 of 3 part for 10 days. Then I go back to 6/12 or 6/12/2-3 the next week. As clusters begin to form, around day 14-21. big bud is added at 2-300ppm. I run big bud from week 3-6 on 8 weekers, though most 8 week strains are 9-10 weekers, week 7 6/12 replace big bud with overdrive at 200ppm 1 week. Flush 10-20 days with carbs the first week, pure water til the leaves start to die off. It's all in the flush.

This post made me very cautions about following AN's programs, you sound like you know what you're talking about.

My last run was a big success, and so far I'm 3 weeks into flower and things are still going well. I've followed the 'Light Feeding program' except that I only use half strength B52 & Sensizym. Just too expensive and the store I bought it from actually advised that too.

Would you advice that I break my current GMB feeding program, and start using twice as much Bloom as Micro, and only 1/4 Grow? I gotta admit I've often wondered why AN advices to use so much Nitrogen during flower. But I'm a newbie still so I've just followed AN's program so far, clever me..

While I'm at it, what is your opinion about AN advising to use 2 ml /liter of Big Bud, Bud Factor X (got a good deal on it, only reason I bought it) and Overdrive? Is it overkill?

As an ex disgruntled distributors tech rep, retailer and moderator of their old med forums, I have some knowledge. I say go 6/12 all the way through. There is more N in micro & bloom then in the grow. Most of ANs line has changed. It's total hype. Bud factor X and kushie kush have gotten some pretty high accolades by some of my favorite growers here. I think you be really surprised what a simple 1 or 2 part fertilzer,(like micro/bloom) some humics, molasses, calmg supplement and a cheap MPK bloom booster will work when used weeks 3 & 6.

im currently running the three part. transition they got equal parts 4ml/gal of each. you suggest 6/12ml-gal all through? or at least from here on?

6ml/gal micro, 9-12ml/gal bloom. if you are growing fat leaved short indicas I may add 2-3ml grow/gal.

The AN calculator has all the products on it and you can't take any of them off and recalculate.

I figured out the ppm/ml ratio off the Sensi A/B bottle and made up my own feeding chart. I had to figure out how to mix the Big Bud and work out how many ppm's it takes up.

I did one grow with Sensi A/B by itself with the light feeding schedule on a mostly indica strain and had absolutely no problems.

The schedule with the Big Bud worked really well with a 100% indica with minor tip burn but has proved to be too strong for some of my mostly Sativa strains.

I'm thinking the Big Bud is either too strong or my overall ppm's shouldn't exceed 1000 ppm. I've been using it week 2-5.

Should I be waiting for bud clusters to form before introducing it? Maybe it's building up in the plant too early.

yes, yes, and yes. take the ppm down to under 200ppm of big b n keep your mix roughly 800-1000.

Thanks man. I'll be trying it out on my current grow right away.
