I'm not sure what you call this kind of hydro/res setup. I made this awesome MSPaint near the beginning.

And the actual setup:

Using nutes as recommended on http://www.cycoflower.com/Nutrient_Calculator.html, maybe a bit less than the levels there.

Seems to be going well so far! Seedling sprouted on about 30/10, and the HPS (600w) was turned on 01/11.

Day 11:

Day 15:

(moved the setup to a more logical area at this point)

Day 20:

Currently on day 22, and the plant's double the size again of the above pic. Camera has flat batteries, though, I will update soon.

Left the nute solution alone for the last 2 weeks - it steadied out at PH 5.9 and 1.7 E.C - I only added more because it looked like she'd drunk about 20-30l at that time.

The ends of the leaves are starting to yellow very slightly, i'm not sure if that's due to over-watering, or fert burn.

Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated :)

Wow, I want to see how this plant does in flower. I grew out 2 bubblelicious in organic soil, topped and fimmed them for multiple tops. 800 watts total, but mine did not look any thing like yours in veg. Great job.

Day 24.

I want to do some training but I think it will be OK to let her grow wild :)

OK, there was a reason for posting the stem!

She has been topped & trained.

You can see where I tied her top down on the second pic. I hope I did it right. I didn't bother with another string securing the base, because she's 2cm thick there now - I don't think she'll be uprooted any time soon.

dude, make some fem beans from her with spraying collodial silver-high concentrated doses and spread soem beans around lol. looks like a super fast grower.

Just did the weekly reservoir top-up / feeding - in the last 7 days she's taken in 30+ liters of water.

Should I follow my original plans and hang out till week 7 to begin 12/12, do you think?

2 more weeks in veg AND the stretch? if you can handle her, go for it!

Well, it had to happen.

A main stem split when I bumped her putting in the extraction system:

Also bugs:

Also some sort of deficiency, possibly overwatering, possibly heat burn:

I've halved her nutes, put honey on the break and tied it up, moved the light a further 6 inches away, and yelled at the bugs. Not sure what else to do, any suggestions?

Also due to lack of light all her bottom leaves are dead. I'm going to give her 3 more days to repair the break then start flowering lighting/nutes and hope for the best.

please turn the HPS off when taking more photos. I weant to see lush green pics not washed out orange ones. looking good tho man. I hope your not flowering in that shower. your going to need a laser beam to penetrate that cannopy when that thing stretches. You will end up having to shove cfls inside that thing, or wrap led christmas lights in and around the branches lol.......hmmm idea....first ever weed plant flowerd entirely of Christmas lights...

I was going to move her to a grow tent for flowering.

Here's some evidence she's outgrown the shower:

You can see here that all the new shoots are a bit too yellow. Don't know why :(

Around week 7 now, just heading into the second week of flowering. I'm squishing the occasional squib, but they're not doing any plant damage.

This is probably 1/8th of the growth happening, there's no real way to get any other good shot.

Awesome grow. She needs a bit of a haircut tho. I'd try to trim off most of the under growth to get some aeration. It will force more growth to the top buds, eliminate most of the popcorn buds, and reduce probability of mold. I'd take off anything below the top 12".
