Day 3 of 12/12..My own soil mix comprising of Happy Frog, Ocean Forest, Sunshine Mix #4

I use GH 3 part system (Micro, grow, bloom), Kool Bloom then Micro, bloom & Bloombastic the final 5 weeks. Flush w/ plain water final 10-14 days

(31) 7 gal containers. Have been growing this GDP cut for approx 2 years now & average 7-8 lbs consistently under (5) 1000w HPS lights 2 of which are on an 8 ft light mover. Vegged under cfl's for 1 month in 1 gal containers, transplanted in 7 gal's then under MH for 2.5 weeks. Then in the flowering room under HPS Lights for approx 1 week & flipped the switch to 12/12 3 days ago.

Will Update as flowering progresses...Sit back & enjoy the ride:dance013:

Just got my hands on my very first GDP, and grape ape actually so I am going to do an all purple tent run here in the next few months. Got my chair pulled up for this one and will be taking notes

Right on talktosamson, you'll love the GDP. I have done Grape ape before, very similar to gdp but the gdp yields better & is more vigourous plant all the way around. GDP has much bigger flowers & just grows faster. Although, I do have friends that love Grape ape, but for my soil & room setup the GDP responds much better.

I retract my statement for the lack of the ability to read and a proper retort.
Keep it sailing crunch.

Yeah somoz, like I said in my 1st post, been growin this cut of GDP for 2 years so I have it pretty much nailed. HPS lighting is not the best for photos so they are definitely not underfed, practically impossible as they have only been in those 7 gal pots for 2.5 weeks which I doubt is long enough for them to have used all of the bennies contained in the soil mix not too mention I have also been feeding them w/ the formula stated above & the roots have exploded thanks to Great White by plant success..but thanks for the heads up..peace.

Kewl, maybe I should learn how to fucking read the start of a thread before making a post! Sorry DC, you clearly got it dialed so I will step back and watch the show. :huggy:

Your plants look real nice. I've only had gdp once, and it was this past summer. It's the medicine.

Nice, I also have some GDP going and will be looking to see how these turn out. You have some beautiful plants, looks like you took care of them in veg. Do you water with a reservoir, pump and hose? or another method?

Also- why 7 Gallon pots? Is 5 really not enough? 5 gallon could save you on soil costs :dunno: Thanks keep it up
