That's gotta be Hawaii...looks like Kauai. Humboldtlocal I highly suggest that you look for the Kauai Electric. It will blow your mind. I used to live on Kauai and Oahu. If you see Andy's memorial please put some flowers there for me.

"Puff the magic dragon lived by the sea and frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called __"

That pier...the memories. I have burned many a doober of the electric sitting there. If you get a chance check out the farmers market @ 9:30am across from the post office in ballpark area. It's well worth checking out. I don't remember the season but if the ice cream mangos are in try them out. Same goes for the white pineapple. The ahi pake from that Pono market in Kapaa is the best you will try.

HL- you have a PM.

Oh Humbolt, Thanks for the inspiration. Now I know my life isn't complete until I grow a purple fan leaf the size of my chest!

North Shore Kauai ....looks like Hanalei Bay far up past the coconut coast of Kapaa & Wailua & Moloaa bay . A nice calm shoreline where the water is relatively quiet even when most of the north shore is too rough for safe swimming. My first drive up from Moloaa it was on par magically with my first experience with Yosemite park . Seeing Hanalei Valley for the first time is like stepping back in time , but the drive past Hanalei on up to Kee Beach is one, BIG , continuous jaw drop !

Around every corner & new vista one comes upon up on the north shore is breath taking ....then u come to the end of the road & get that magnificent view of Ke'e beach and the first true glimpse of the Na Pali coastline. Just another day in paradise i said to myself as i approached the road's end ...biggest smile on my face that lasted the entire trip last time i was there .

( Only thing that would compare to this kind of "Kauai high" could only be a Bali High! ;) )

* There is one of the 8th wonders of the world that was built up in the mountain spaces above Kapaa near the seventh sacred wateralls ...but its a secret to most & somewhat private , one of the great masters of the world settled on that island paradise & built something just incredibly magnificent for 1bil Hindus .
