Thank you Jess!! You are always so helpful!

Lola, welcome back! We missed you! Sorry you're having problems with your grow. For me it appears that I'm gonna hafta be primarily a winter grower cuz this old house really leaks air...my last good grow was last Jan-Feb-Mar when the HID lights/ballasts raised my temps to the right level!

OMM, glad to see you here....Miss Blunted, how are you feeling? You're on the home stretch...hope all is well.

Love to all the Bad Girls, and kissy kiss to Bluenose! You have good taste.

Seems as though this is a good place to meet all you cool bladies :flowers2:
I'm a fairly new member and I keep a smallish grow which is just to keep me and mah fella in bud. :smokeit: I'm a UK resident.

I apologise in advance for my obvious problem with smilies, don't judge me, it's a sickness.

Great to meet you all. :tiphat::wave:

Can I say yes even if it's not true?:shucks:

Actually it's a variation on Blades (meaning stoner of the male kind) + ladies = bladies. But I like your way better.

Hope everyone is good and high this evening.

I'm in Los Angeles growing mostly sativas but adding some high CBD stuff. I'm an activist. I know a couple of women growers but I know it's pretty rare. I grow for some pretty sick people and make an oil that has helped many.

Hey lady, is your oil a secret recipe?? Just curious... if you want to share any details or just a little of the general method, I'd loooove to be enlightened by your way. Basically wondering what your using as a solvent. A big high five for providing the real thing to those in need. Happy Holidaze~ MissGD

It's very simple. I get a big pot and put in about a pound of popcorn buds, a couple of quarts of water, and 6-8 jars of virgin coconut oil. I've experimented with different oils and I feel that the coconut oil pulls out more of the desirable compounds than any other oil. I then simmer it for 3 days stirring often and adding more water when needed. Then I strain, get the water out, and bottle it up. My last lab results for the oil was 4.32mg of THC per gram of oil, .26 mg CBN and .16 mg CBD. You can eat it or use it topically. I would really cut it down with some other oil for cooking though. I started hallucinating once when I ate a brownie that I made with the oil. Not a pleasant experience!

wow, that sounds like some sweet oil! I'm surprised to hear you're using water. I use the same type of oil and make about the same size batch. I basically do the same thing minus adding, and then separating, the water. Is there a particular purpose for the water? I wish I had access to lab testing. Thanks so much for sharing! :smoke out:

I'm not really sure why the water. It's what a friend of mine that's been doing it for a long time does. I would imagine that it's to help agitate the bio matter more like when you do bubble hash. I'm going to do lab testing again to see if it really needs to go 3 days. Maybe I'll try it without water.

right right, i see. I'm using my crock pot, and unfortunately, my crock pot low setting is not as low as the old skool ones, I can't keep it on too long. Minimally overnight and up to 2 days. That's cool you have the time and energy to try another method, I would love to hear your sans-water results.

Loooove the topical option that coconut oil offers. that's the good stuff! One more question if you don't mind:how successful is the coco oil at topical relief? Is it more of a novelty(for lack of a better word) or is this serious medicine as a muscle rub, massage oil, etc. I'm curious because I'm trying to develop topical uses for all this coco oil I have on hand and wondering if its widely effective on its own or how much supplementation (menthol, arnica, etc.) it would need in order to provide the topical relief I'm hoping for. I've heard it works well on its own, but I don't have a gauge for it yet.My guess is that its much more effective for skin problems (psoriasis, skin allergy, burns, etc.) just as is, vs. maybe needing a little enhancement as a deep tissue reliever. Much thanks, and mad props to you cann.i.buz, I'm inspired to head a little further down this avenue ;)

I had to move quickly a few months ago because of an arrest. I have back issues anyway so I expected to be flat on my back for a while after the move. I rubbed the oil on everyday and somehow I was ok. Also, I tore my rotator cuff during the move and I rubbed the oil all over my shoulder and arm pit. It was 75% better in 2 days. I didn't get that kind of result from steroids on a previous injury. I also have a member of my collective that is recovering from surgery for a brain tumor. He seems to be getting some relief. I have another member that has polymiasia and is getting relief for the nerve pain he was feeling. I have a nurse that is taking it into hospice. I haven't gotten feedback from her yet but I'm hoping for good news. I think the key is for it to be very strong. There's close to an ounce of cannabis used for each 4 ozs. of end product so it's strong.

Hello ladies, sorry I haven't stopped in in a while I've been crazy busy. It's harvest time agin. I just took down an inced grapefruit and am fixing to take down some purple herijuana x warrior f3, one really indica (I made f4 seeds with the male that sprang from the seeds) and another pheno that looks very haze like. Got everything bumpin' and grinding again, gotta rock it bad girls style.

Currently I'm making 2 thanksgiving dinners, what a pain. Just pulled out the pumpkin pies and put in the cheesecake, one turkey roasting away, another waiting in the fridge for space. Then whoot, snowboarding for the first time in 2 years for me and I'm a known snowboarding addict. absolutely rabid for it.

As for now, nipping on baililys and cooking up a storm, and puffing some sweet homegrown meds.

O mountain, how did those black domina workout for you? were they sativa or indica leaning.. I'd love seeds for x-mas to magically appear...

KK-Awesome, we're getting another member of the BGC! Sorry I haven't writen in so long ladies, I've been crazy busy. I'm in negotiations for buying a 2 acre organic farm w 2 20x20 metal buildings, already wired 2 phase 220, and since me and ^&^*%$&^ are split up it's time for me to move out and get someplace suitable for my needs. I've been in and out of the hospital. Unexpected bonus from being so sick, I lost 25 lbs in 2 weeks. I'm feeling slightly better now, after weeks of hospitalization, endless tests, there is a diagnoses, but not treatment available.

I made 2 entire thanksgiving dinners, aww aren't I so nice to the ex?

In flower that I just harvested was iced grapefruit, and it was frosty and dense, a 57 day flowering time strain, and I have 30 seeds of that crossed with prurple herijuana x warrior f3, so I picked my most indica purple herijuana x warrior f3 and made the male shake his groove thing all over her, also some of that male pollenn on my velvet hammer, and low and behold, some went on the iced grapefruit.

I have 2 different phenoypes of the purple herijuana x warrior f3, 1, like I said is very squat, bushy, indica with thick dense buds, I might take her out next weekend, since she's a seed maker for the f4 generation I'm just making BHO from the buds. The other phenotype has huge long branches that are donkey dicks all over the place, but they look no where near as done as everything else, they remind me of hazes, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was the warrior being expressed, and from my understanding, warrior is a 100 day flowering strain, which is ok by me, because they yield looks outrageous. And I have several nice death stars out in flower, an alaskan thunderfuck, and a couple of unlabled once clones now huge plants in flower that I can't figure out what they are, and also I have a black maduro and 2 kali most cocoa flo in flower, I definitely have one male of the kali cocoa flo.

So as always ladies, I'm a crazy busy. I also worked as security for the 2nd annual caregivers cup here, and attended a hash bash the day before. I'm glad my death stars and the majority of flower will be out and dry with a little cure by the holidays. The iced grapefruit, it was just so trichome covered and pure solid grapefruit taste and smell, even with no cure.
