Purple Calyx Colombian Mangobichi

This late season pure Colombian was gifted to me by Charlie Garcia of Cannabiogen last year. The growth patterns are extreme tropical sativa. Wonderful tropical spicy are already evident. Beautiful purple Flower formations with gentle tropical molten patterns on the Inflated calyx's. The flowers need another month before they are ripe.

Its nice to have Rare cannabinoid profiles on my palate indicative of the seventies. .

Glad to see them well SM
Is a very nice line but not for impatients like other colombianas :)
Takes around 18 weeks minimum to mature but effect, quality and other traits seems to worth the wait. Is a todays pure colombian line and oldschool as well. Said other times, Reds seemed to catch all the hype and fame for some time in exports, but Mangobiche is close behind quality to Punto Rojo imho. Not Columbia Golds in Columbian since very long ago, just la Mona (Amarilla-yellow) which has a different effect, more sedative and mellow and more moderated potency and is grown in north Sta Marta areas, lowland and highlands. There is too much literature more than reality nowdays about the old golds. There are yellow and green leafed lines in many places of north, from Chocó, to Taganga, etc
Mangobiche is a line all Columbian friends are proud of.
This generation is coming out clean in previous and present tests, hope she does well in your hands
So hope all goes well and conditions allow you to enjoy them well

Thanks again Charlie, we are forever grateful.

They stand hard conditions and in fact are used to them. Climate in some Columbian places is not hot at all at night but opposite can be pretty cold although mostly sunny unless rain season. Mornings are so wet too.
Very good mold and cold resistance. Here in the pic minimum temps are almost zero. Showing some colours as well

Its very hard to talk about Colombian lines nowdays Bacchus, is been so long since paraquat and DEA and this was real in Sta Marta as its real new poisoning for coca fields nowdays. I dont know much more about golds. Old timers should know much much better about old Columbian lines for exports mostly from north Santa Marta and so than we know today. Also local names and stories from local ppl differ often to what is known form old magazines after all this time. Guess there was a great past, but not so great present although there is plenty of weed. Been always interested myslef but coudnt find much info nor lines not ppl to learn better from.
