Realy? Your rec in CA Never expires? In my state their is a rule that allows your old card to be valid until the new one is issued. Reason I ask is I also have an expired CA license.

go to court or have your atturney go for ya - cops rarely show up n it will get dismissed.
if he does show ie you see him in the court room - get it continued, they dont have time for this shit.

I did it with my son, and after much arguing and checking...they dismissed his Case--
