Sexing plants, then reverting back to 24/0, is that ok?

hello, i was just hoping someone might be able to help me with a question.............

if i sex a plant, change from 24/0 to 12/12 until it shows it's sex and then if it is female switch back to 24/0 to let it grow bigger would that do any harm? I just thought it would be easier to get any males out early?
thanks, and regards

:thank you:

This will work fine. After flower identification, any light cycle between 18/6 and 24/0 hours of light will reverse the flowering and start the veg cycle again. This will take a few weeks to complete the transition. The plants will also be more bushy this way as this is similar to monster cropping from flowering cuttings.

Grow using the veg lighting until the desired height and shape have been produced, then switch to 12/12 for the flowering cycle. This method is used by many growers to sex the plants early.

Yes i have done it a few times with success.

12/12 till it shows female hairs / pistils .
the males plants will show sex before the ladies shows the hairs

trim the tops (cause the pre-bud gets too dense for me , trimming make the new shoots spread even)
and lights 24/0
