Thinking about mixing in some MH into my flowering. what weeks would be best?

i also put the mh back in the last 2 weeks.. seems to make the buds more oily.. you do lose weight.. but the bud is better.

Im willing to take abit of a hit if it means better quality.

i'd say keep an even mix of hps and metal halide lamps in order to increase the overall light spectrum.. its more like the sun this way.

Run Grolux or Full Spectrum lamps, same job & better trich coverage ive found compared to just HPS alone. or go CMH! Good luck!

opps, think i confused CMH for Dual Arc. i may try both the CMH and Full Spectrum, or maybe even others as well.

I don't know if there's enough UV coming off a MH to cause a major difference. But I did notice denser/frostier buds under a CMH vs HPS (same wattage.)

did you also notice a much smaller crop or was it fairly close

Supplement with MH for a fuller spectrum (max. 20% MH I say), but for max flower power HPS gives much more light per watt.

No doubt it does, definately not debating that but more curious about the difference in bud results.

Very interested as I plan to run both my 150 watt hps and 100 watt CMH for my next batch

yep yep, use the mh AND veg nutes for about the first 3 weeks.
