Ez cloner Super weird problem.

Ok so i been cloning with Ez cloner for 1 year now getting 100% rate.

But today just went to one of my 120 ez cloner site and took a look under the lid all my stems are like slimmy clear and the stem seems to have been over watered away...

Why did this happen? i have another ez clone right next to it without any problems. Same water source and same lighting source....

only difference is the air pump.

can someone diagnose this problem for me?

i remember i bleeched the system before i used it, could bleech have caused this problem?

you are supposed to bleach them out between runs. usually it is a water temp issue.

20-30 ml's Dutch Master Zone solved the problem for me, is there a funky smell coming from under the lid? Karma, One Love

yes funky smell and no roots only over watered stems. and slimy stuff

Its most likely a water temp thing . We always Bleach in between runs , keep water temps in check We like 75f,use ph'd tap water and do water changes every 2-3 days .
Zone is good if you want to add stuff but plain old water works great no gels or other junk .

you will need to re cut any savable clones set them in cups of water or better yet start fresh if you can, or you may do all the below just to go through it again

bleach the cloner undo the sprayers(cause now the slimed rotted stem material may have gotten sucked up into the pump)

wash the plugs in the washing machine w/ a little (very small) detergent and 1/2 cup of bleach, double rinse.

open pump and clean filter. run pump in at least 2-3 gals of water w/ 20%-30% bleach, add air stone or other stuff but not sprayers they can soak in a separate glass of the same solution.

they are still standing though.


damn i dont have another 120 clones is the problem i have to bug my buddy about it =(

sucks after so many runs this problem occurred for the first time.
