Damn big herb, everywhere I see you, you take an adversarial position and seem angry at everyone all the time...

Just ask subrob. Im actually much less confrontational then i used to be...

...and im not angry at anyone. I actually have alot of respect for humble and what hes brought to the table. If anyone could convince me that what I have isnt hogsbreath it would be him.

But to be honest, i dont know what else i would call it and everyone already knows it in my area as the hogsbreth. So if i start calling it something different people would just get confused. As far as ICM yall can just call it the BhT or BhTBreath or BiGsBreath or whatever the fuck yal want. Like ive said its just a great strain and i think sometimes we all get wrapped up too much in names and what not...

My motto has always been: "if its good, grow it." :tiphat:

im one person who couldnt give a fuck about names or hype. only thing i care about is genetical characteristics and growth traits. end of story.

Well said! If something is dank who cares what it's called or if it is in style.

My fav smoke right now:

Alrighty no worries, thanks for the clarification. I don't really care when it comes down to it in regards to names, either. However, from an integrity/principle standpoint, I like to know the correct name and not spread mis information. I'm not saying any of you guys are doing this just a general comment ^_^

Its official....I suck at growing.....I dont even know what the hell I'm doing wrong, the past three grows I've like stunted my clones right from the start. Shocked them or something with too much food I dont know. Then I flush em and start em again with fresh nutrient at lower levels and they just look like they need more food....growing used to be so straight forward and easy for me, I have no clue why it has been going to shit. Oh yea, now I get the fun of dealing with spider mites, root aphids, gnats, and thrips all at once.....They've just been gathering and starting little clans here and there and I'm waiting to fucking spray my plants, but they look like shit and would probably die if I did spray em.

I pray to the cannabis GODS!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!! Seriously though, this bites.

The old north county cut of hawgs breath has been cultivated for Some 15 years and is more of a sativa dominant "creeper" phenotype. This means it grows very similar to a tomato where the branching is horizontal with poor posture requiring staking. The BHT cut so popular as of late is def not hawgsbreath as it is too indica dominant resembling bubba and master, neither of which resemble the legendary cut in any way. This is def a name game worth playing because It would e shame to see a legend replaced by an entirely new specimen.

you must stalk branches of appreciation to others before you can show humbleguy some rep increasing love +++

anyway f#cking rep. i use to get the oldskool nugs from a cat in Carlsbad he shared his Elvis cut with me as well.... too bad it was lost(Elvis left the building). glad to see you are running the sat dom pheno.

BHT you sound like a pissed of Ent. BigHerbTreebeard hahaha

i will refer to some strains i have grown and had people point out to me the diff in pheno types.... rob's gdpsk comes to mind. multiple phenos from the same cross. some more indica and some 90 day plus sativa. you may have both got an old cut of the original seeds offspring. also one of them could be an s1.....

I'm going to need a lot of soil coming up here soon and was wondering if you guys had any recommendations as to where to go. I want to be able to get large quantities of raw organic materials to make soil. Roughly 200 cubic feet worth. If this isn't considered bulk, where do you guys recommend I go? I know this is past the level of buying pre-packaged 10 gallon bags lol - I'm looking for some kind of discount here...

Eastman soils in San Marcos. They sell stable bedding and San Diego river bottom silt. Best paired with Agrowinn(Encinitas) worm castings and rock mineral. I have purchased hundreds of yards over the years for organic food production and nothing beats the combo in raised planters. one cubic yard which is 27 cubic feet runs about $27
