well today is a very sad day. I lost my last clone of GWS I have had since 2003. I do not know what happened. I came down today and checked and it was kicked over dead. It was only 1 day since I had seen it last. It was not for lack of water either, it was just dead. I had been keeping that strain alive since 2003 and just lost it. I am truly sad. I got 7 females out of a pack of 10 and this was the best strain of them all, best taste size looks everything.:fsu:

YES

YES

yes it was a mother plant and the only plant/cutting/clone of that strain I had and it was my favorite. My friends called it candy when they smoked it it was so sweet and smooth. It smelled really awesome and had reddish/purple buds. I am looking at my last jar thinking what am I going to do. It is like losing an old friend......I have other mothers but nothing like my prized GWS...it was just something I really liked to smoke myself, not many did I share this with.
WELL, on to new things and new adventures. Have to get the old packs out again and see what we can get rockin to take GWS's place in the line up....I got train wreck, NYCDiesel, 4way, some unreal plants from unknown seeds. I have them as mothers I have 5 had 6 with gws, so I am not hurting on the need so to say it is just hurting because it was MY favorite to smoke and enjoy.

So

So

So I dug up my old thread because today I had a reckoning on what happened to my GWS mother last year. I have horses and I have four board fencing all around my property to keep them in. Well, it also has non climbable mesh fence on the one side of it to keep my dogs in as well. I take round up and burn the fenceline up with that so I do not have to trim everytime I mow, I just hop on the tractor and start mowing because it is burned back about 10 inches from the fenceline.
ANYWAYS< I was doing this today and had a flashback to last year and touching my mother plant after not washing my hands after handling all that ROUNDUP.........I must have had it on my hands enough that when I did something to her I unknowingly murdered her.
Mystery over but I am still sad that she is gone as I have just recently smoked the last of her candy tasting buds.
