was at 5.8. Added a little bit of ph up now at 6.0.

922 ppm on hanna so that's 1.9 ec or 1330 on .7 scale.

Using MaxiBloom powder as my nutes. DWC.

What can I do to stop this discoloring??? it's getting worse.

You should go on to the infirmary forum and fill out the form stickied at the top of the forum. Also shut your lights down and get some normal light for the pictures so we can actually see the colors.

I run RDWC and right off the bat from what I CAN tell from your pictures it looks like some periods of massive PH swing. Have you been chasing your PH much? Calcium also comes to mind but without the plant help sheet filled out I can not reccomend any certain action.

If you're running DWC why are you using pH up?? Also agree on the potential calcium deficiency, but it is difficult to tell from those pictures.

1.9 is WAY too high. Cut it in half and the plants will be fine.

Not necessarily...I sometimes have an EC of 2+ using just 1 teaspoon per gallon of Maxibloom and the plants love it. Using less causes them to lighten. My water is 0.44 (220 PPM) to start though...so I'm actually adding 1.66 to the water.

I really think it depends on which ferts you are using where your EC numbers need to be. That's what I've seen in my limited experience. Some ferts seem to run hotter than others at the same EC.

Just my opinion...

I have run high, medium and low ec in dwc (2-0.5) and med to low keep the plants healthy and trouble free.

In my opinion you should bring your ec down until you figure out what the problem is.

Good Luck,

Yes infirmary for sure, better pics would be helpful.

It does appear to be over feeding. Your plants require less nutrients in late flower.

I like pH closer to 5.6 for DWC but if they've been fine up to this point at 6.0 then I wouldn't muss with it.

I would definitely trim those dieing leaves though. They are only blocking light at this point and the will not recover.

You need calmag, or you have been at low ph too long. Notice it is the hand leaves discoloring, they have given up their calcium and mag to the plant to help it stay healthy.

it might be a light feeding plant so i get your ph to 5.7 or there abouts an bring your feed strength down to 1.4 ec see if it helps .. how do the buds look.

this is a salt buildup, the curling of the leaves downwards like "the claw" is N toxicity, the mottling and burning along with it would indicate that there is too buch salt buildup....i would use a flushing agent like drip clean to clean out your entire system and to remove any salt residue.

how long since a res change? when in doubt, dump res, mix fresh nutes by the label in the mid range that they give....

DWC reacts to changes very quickly. I'd drain the tank and replace with a solution at 1/2 the recommended rate on your bottles. Old growth will NOT improve. Look to new growth to judge progress. pH 5.8-6.0 is at the high end for DWC. FWIW, I overfeed on purpose and find an EC in the 1.0-1.2 range accomplishes just that.
