u can can cool 2 600s with 1 vortex . if its ur 1rst tent but not ur 1rst row consider sealin the tent and have the 2nd fan hooked up to a filter inside and use some co2 those tents are easy to seal. ive been lookin at a new tent that would be perfect for 2 600s. its 4x6 i run 1ks so i decided to go with 5x5s instead but with 2 600s it would kill it in there. i almost bought new ballasts for it. or since ya got 2 light and fan combos consider 2 seperat tents like i run. but 4x4. i like it cause i run 1 with an rdwc monocrop and the other i load up with many different strains so i can have a variety and pick out my favorites to run in the others. also allows me to run some low yielding strains for my personal stash that is not worth it for me to run a big crop of. hope this helped ne more? feel free to ask.

Hey man, so your going to use 2 fans for ventilation, the same brand and model? Have one intake and one exhaust?
I just got a tent and that's the only way I can figure out how to make it 100% light proof. I plan on attaching a filter to each fan which will block all light.
If 2 600's I'd do a tent that is 8' x 4' or something similar

If you run passive intake on your tent...you will not need that second fan. Return it and get some H&G nutes...or run GH Floragrow and bloom one part formula.

i run 2 600s in a 4x4 tent . couldnt be happier
im not too worried about lightproofing it.
the tent will be in my garage and its pretty dark in there.
plus i can always put something outside of the tent to make the light block from the ducts.
what type of ballasts are they if they arent switchable to 120 yea u will need a 240 line ran to them. i dont think they make something that goes from 120 to 240 i know theres light controllers that u can plug 120 plugs into but ya still need a 10-3 wire min ran into it at 240 on a 30amp breaker. best of luck. not to discourage ya but ya may have some work ahead of ya. any ?s just ask. keep this in mynd a 600 is good for 3x3 ideally. also none of my tents are completely lightproof mostly light escapes cuz i got 1ks blasstin away. but i keepem in dark rooms and never had a prob . keepinem in the dark helps alot.

dude u do not want that 6in vortex fan blowin into ur tent. ur gonna loose neg pressure, i would hang the fan inside the tent hooked up to a carbon filter. another thing i may change is put the other fan so that it blows threw the hoods and out the tent. that way u dont have hot air goin thew ur fan{better for the motor). if ya want down the road one more piec of ducting and ur tent will be sealed.

or do you mean its better to put the fans inside the tent instead of having them outside blowing into it?
