Optimal germination conditions to get higher male ratio?

I usually get a high F:M ratio, I'm wondering if its the conditions I use and if so, I'd like some brainstorming/input on how to go to the other side of this to induce a high M:F ratio.

The last set of seeds I popped-
(6) SS AK47 (5 females)
(3) DJ Blueberry (3 females)
(3) BOG Sourbubble (3 females)

I really wanted a male from the SB or Bb to get some good seeds going. I dont have the space for more females, and I'm happy with the females I selected. I just want a couple males.

So I'm thinking, hotter temps like 80's with yellow light? What about nutrients? If I go more/less N, or P/K that should maybe make a difference?

I also heard that plants sometimes can tell if there are female plants around them so if I move the seedlings in with the moms/veggers for a bit maybe that should help? I really want some pollen lol..

I've heard the opposite with the temperature part, people have said that lower temps produce more males but yeah idk lol.

What are your conditions for getting females? I seem to have the opposite problem; having too many males.

and pop more beansz..............
also direct air flow on the seedlings seems to have sum impact.......

I tend to keep temps at 68/76 night/day for seedlings (not germing seeds). I had heard something about temperature but couldn't remember which one it was and I figured it was higher than my current conditions because I can't go much lower without stunting I dont think..hmm

Yeah more stress seems like it could influence them.. I'll try less N too. Oh I think heard of something about a lot of vitamins or maybe a good dose of kelp additive might bring out male sex..
Isn't cannabis one of the only plants that has a substantially different male/female plant?

also the SnakeOil.known as SuperThrive............can influence males......
enuff of that will reverse FEM seeds to hermi or males.....

so it should sway the tide to U'r needed male side also....

I have found that if the lights are on 18/6 that I get mostly females.. When I have the lights on 24 hours, I get more males than usual..

Thats interesting. I use 18/6 all the time so maybe I should try 24/0. Thats another thing I'll try, thanks!

Personally...from my LIMITED experience...it doesn't matter. I'll grow out seeds the SAME way and sometimes I get almost all girls and sometimes I get almost all boys...and sometimes an even mix. I think it's mostly myth that certain conditions give you girls.

That's just my opinion...

taproot depth is a good one. plants are more likely to be male in shallow soil - try germing in very shallow pots - over 4" depth is supposed to mean more females.

makes sense because more soil depth tends to mean more available nutes and therefore more food for the plant to make seeds (takes a lot)
whearas a plant branch will make pollen for weeks even in a jar of water
