My Mom passed awy from cancer yesterday with my brother and I holding her hand during her final breaths.Almost the entire family was there to help her including her surviving sisters.Shame on you NY and USA for not allowing cannabis as legal medicine in 35 states and federally. My Mom could have benefitted from cannabis and who knows,it may have saved her life.if only she could have used it without fear and stigma.Shame on you.Rest in Peace Mom,you were one of my best friends. How could a God let a devoted follower suffer like she did? It is mind boggling. How could anyone who lived a decent life need to suffer? And worst of all why do innocent children suffer? It is maddening.I have always been a christian but my faith is wavering and there are many questions unanswerd.Nobody on the face of the Earth should have to go through that.Make no mistake,my Mom was in Hell.Thank goodness she isn't any longer.Peace and One Love and I Love You Mom.

I'm really sorry man :( Can't imagine losing my mother although it'll happen to all of us eventually. Messed up about the cannabis too =/ Try and stay productive and positive (seems like you have both covered) and use your family for support!

I assume these are rhetorical?

I toked with my Ma since I was around 15 and her around 50. We are now 47 and 82. She had to quit a couple of years ago due to the smoke bothering her lungs. She doesn't miss it, and doesn't want to bother with edibles. Anyway, she is a good friend to me, and will be missed by me when she's gone. She is pretty much an atheist, so there will not be any preacher at her funeral, she wants to be cremated, and a few classical pieces played at her burial. Good mom's are a special treasure. Sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

My mom and I were real close. I saw her the night she died of lung cancer. My oldest sister was her nurse, so we all went home that night. Around 3am I heard a knock at my window. I instantly raised up in bed and said who is it. I lived on an old farm in the country. I had a spliting headache after I asked who was at my window. Twenty minutes later my sister called and informed me that mom had passed away around 3am. To this day I really believe it was my mom saying good bye.

Man, I hope they can cure cancer someday.

Respect bro, and much love to you.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. Since you are of faith I'll share this. Mom's are one of the best things God created. Don't let this shake your faith. Let it strengthen it. Praise God that you had the chance to comfort her in her last moments. How awesome is that. I'm sure from where your mom is looking down on you and your brother now she would say the same thing. Maybe this would be a good time to meet with your pastor or spiritual leader and talk about the questions you have. You're Mom's at peace now. I hope you can find peace with her passing too.

I wanted to say, yes I had my doubts too. my mom was kind and everyone shit on her. She gave all she had and others kept taking. I wondered why God is so cruel too. She did not deserve poverty or suffering. She deserved to live better than all those mean bastards who do live lives of luxury. And yet she was a humble simple person, she just wanted love and to be what some lover who swept her off her feet wanted her to be. It sound like your mom was similar. I still to this day have trouble returning to church, have mixed conflicted feelings when praying or thinking of my mom, and wonder why she had to die at 65 instead of living the rich full life she deserved. I wish you the best in your healing and maybe you will have some helpful advice for me as well.
