How much Sulphur?

Just a quick question(s). I have a 8-9 week strain.

In what week should I stop running a sulphur burner.

How many times per week should I run the sulphur burner, how long in duration (hours? minutes?), and should I be doing it in the night cycle or day cycle? Thanks all.

They say its fine up till a week or so before harvest...i wouldn't go for that.
I use it up to 3 weeks...if needed. a couple of teaspoons is enough.
5 to 10 ml. As long as there is 1/8 in of melted prills in there once it is going. I also wash the plants down several times before harvest.

Some sulphur burners are hotter than others..mine is fairly slow to melt all the prills. All fans off..even circulation fans.. I use it once a week....twice if there is a stubborn problem. If using twice , back down the burn time.

It doesn't smell much, unless your walls are just black and white plastic.

Sulfur makes awful tasting bud and its hell on anything copper like plugs and wire it would be my last resort for killing mold. now that I got that off my chest you want to run it at equally spaced intervals (spores are active 24/7) as to the duration of cycle the size or your room what heater(burner) and how much ventilation you have all need to be considered a little more info and you will get a better answer

My walls are Panda Plastic. Insulated, but covered in vapour barrier, then Panda Plastic. Well I'm beginning the start of wave trimming next Sunday. I don't think I have time for Sulphur on this crop.

What about those Sulfur sprays? Any experience with those.

Well what would you suggest if I've only got just a bit of Powdery Mildew and only a couple of weeks left.

What else do you use to combat it, if not Sulfur?

Trim what you can out, add a dehumidifier, as much air circulation as possible if it starts to spread maybe harvest a little early as you are near harvest putting anything on your flowers will probably be bad Be aware sometimes mold becomes systemic and regardless what you do 6 or 7 weeks into flower mildew appears the only to get around it is a new mom I had some lifesaver that did that and it broke my heart. here's an interesting link for plants in VEG http://attra.ncat.org/attra-pub/bakingsoda.html

I run mine once a week for 15 - 20 min. I wouldn't run mine within 3 weeks of finishing. If you are experiencing a problem daily could work but, watch out for the more is better attitude most people exhibit. The vape is a tool that is best used for preventitive maintenance of powdery and bugs ( spider mites hate this shit too). A dehumidifier as stated earlier will be your best bet kept below 60- 65%. Good luck, Peace.

I went in the room tonight and the PM is getting out of control. Despite it being nearing finish time I have doused them with the Sulfur Powder + water mix through a misting gun. They have been drenched with sulfur. I will repeat again tonight and then rinse them off with some fresh high PH water tomorrow.

What do you guys think?

I have also invested in a sulfur evaporator which I will begin using for my next crop, unless you guys think it's ok to use while this one is finishing out.

what kind of sulfur vaporizer did you get? is the heating element a coil like an electric stove, a ceramic bulb that screws in, or a flat plate? I've tried them all and the flat plat types seem to work the best. it makes a nice clearish cloud of sulfur vapor instead of thick white smoke.
after you harvest and before you start the next crop run a good long sulfur burn in the room. as many hours as you can stand, preferably 8 or more. this should coat the area with a nice dusting of sulfur.
don't run your burner within 3 weeks of harvest. week 5 for an 8 weeker or week 6 for a 9 weeker.

It's the flat ceramic bulb thing. I don't have any sulfur to put in it yet, but I was testing it out and it nearly boiled water in a few minutes. I think that should do the trick. Thanks for the advice guys.
