I have been an avid smoker for years and an OMMP patient going on 5 years now. I have been a lot of places and smoked a lot of herbs and for my money nothing gets me higher than the Kens Cut Granddaddy Purple. Some may say that it lacks potency or gains tolerance too quickly, but not for me.....When I am in pain and need to go back to sleep the GDP does it for me every time.

Since I live in a state where I cant just go to a dispensary and get DNA, it has been my quest to get this cut since the day I have become medical. Today a wonderful member of the OMMP community gifted me three gorgeous dark green GDP clones. I don't really knows who you are, but thank you friend you did a great deed today and it will not be forgotten.

They will be babied and cared for, and then replicated as many times as I can so I lever loose this Jem again. Current grow is called Samson's Medical Tent of Doom.....Coming Soon, Smaon's GDP tent of doom...Waaaahhahahahahha

Congrats on the the gdp! Definitely a lovely and tasty strain, have you ever tried purple urke? The original variety gdp was crossed with? Lower yielding but one of the the tastiest out there for a purple strain.

Cool cool!

I just purchased 3 clones from a nursery that gets all their clones from UCberkley so i trust the authenticity to a extent.

got Grand Daddy Purp, Durban Poison, Alaskan Thunder Fuck

Will you have a thread going so I can check out your GDP plants?

If you want to check out some GDP pix I have them in my thread, @ 2weeks of flower.

I've never had "TRUE" GDP. in 6 weeks that will be different

Thanks for checking in! Yes I have had the Urkle and I loved it but like you said I hated the yield so the search continued.

GDP is a put u to sleep erb for sure. Potency is not always the deciding factor in what u grow. I look for Taste first then its potency. Good luck with your cuts. Theres some good people there in Oregon thats where I lived for a long time and was a OMMP card holder.

Thanks for checking in, there is really no place like Oregon, when I leave home I have this overwhelming urge to go west.. Trust me my friend, I am a herb head first and I have many clone only strains in my stash to titillate my other senses but the GDP is my medicine of choice. For some reason it has no celing with me, I have tried and it puts me down before I stop going up, and when grown organically in soil I think the taste is pretty good as well.

The little ladies in my veg room can only aspire to achieve what you have described. Once In college I got my hands on a QP of soil grown GDP and I had a friend two houses over call and say, do you have purple right now? I think I can smell it in my living room..

Definitely one to put in the books as one to give a try if you ever come across it, I love it. Crazy story, I made a friend and he had it, and he was a reputable source so I know I had the real deal finally. Strain karmah, I have always shared what I had and it finally came back to me.

I only grow of the indica variety, I smoked to calm me down from the day and keep me down for the night :) I do keep a pineapple C99 around though for taste and outdoor activities!
