visc burmese is a great strain i had shit luck growin out crosses fucking incredible turn out to be fuckin garbadge but the burmese is amazin very unique smell to say the least but the smoke and flavor are top nothch sativa buds smooth floral taste one pheno had like a bbq spice to it. will def be orderin more of dem beans. dont believe the 6-8wk flower time most of myne went 10-12wk like a typical sativa. also like to note this plant is a tough lady and will put out even in bad situtations ive put her through hell a few times and she did nuthin but pump out more and more resin.

Yeah that's it for sure, I wish I had pictures still I grew them outdoors here in BC and they went into late october under poly. I know what you mean about the BBQ spice, I had one that smelled like freshly grated ginger and spice.

If you had problems with the FI you should email VISC, I had some problems with the F.I.x kush and the owner sent me like 3 or 4 different strains of his to try.

Burmese (Burma, The Burms) was the local favorite in my hometown through most of the 80's and 90's. so much so that it got to the point that all good weed was called Burma in the same way you would call a cola a Coke or a tissue a Klenex.

I don't remember the flavor as being anything other than really good tasting weed. may have been floralish, but it was mostly a typical weed taste and smell. The buds were very tight and symmetrical. we jokingly called them brussel sprouts because they were so round typically and about that same size. Fantastic up and motivational high.

wehn I first started growing that is a strain I was anxious to get again but I haven't been able to find a strait burm variety yet. It is my understanding that Burmese is a fast finishing sativa with a short stature. I would love to find the actual cut from back in the day. I haven't seen or heard of the burms in a long, long time though. I laid that on some pretty heavy smokers back in the day and it was alwasy received with a "wow... this is really good pot!"

The country formerly known as 'Burma' is actually called Mayanmar.

Our Fighting Buddha is a select Burmese Landrace Sativa X DJ's Blueberry (B130)... mostly sativa, excellent up clear high, not skunky at all... much more exotic and tropicl scented. REally enjoyable high... IMO it's the Burmese hybrid you want, but I might be biased! ;)

-Chimera

This is some excellent stuff, floral and even a bit of incense in the smell, really pleasant high..

Its definitely worth having in your garden.

I got my VISC Burmese up in B.C. Just walked in and bought 'em. Told the girl behind the counter who I was and asked her to recommend me her 3 favorite strains that would best represent B.C. genetics. She sold me Burmese, Island Sweet Skunk and Godbud, all of which I really like. Of my 10 Burmese seeds, only 7 germinated. Every single one showed early male flowers, but I picked 'em off and let them finish. Got 4 males and 3 females and crossed to make F2's which I've yet to plant. Cloned the select lady and passed her around for further evaluation by other growers. She mostly behaves well, but has shown late hermie flowers on a few occasions. Not a problem for me or my friends who learned from me, but some others might find that unacceptable. We often joke that the name Burmese was chosen because it rhymes with Hermies!

I really like this strain. We consider it to be a morning sativa, not the most potent thing in the garden, but when one has many choices, potency is often not a reason to choose. The smell and taste of Burmese are very unique and could hardly be mistaken for anything else that I know of. It's easy to grow, yields big and makes very nice looking, dense easy to manicure buds that have great bag appeal. One other interesting observation we've made is that our cut has unusually brittle branches and takes a very soft touch to bend without breaking. The perfect plant to hone your PJJ (plant jiu jitsu) skills on.

Ive been wanting both RMS and VISC Burmese but never have been able to get my hands on them.

if anyone has recently had success ordering VISC's please pm me a link :thank you:

I ve been growing the Burmese from VISC for many many years & she still is one of the most unique smelling, beautiful looking plants i have ever worked with. I have grown her ever way possible & found she adapts to most anything i throw at her.

Look up 3legdog & those threads on Burmese to see what im talking about ;)

note: the Burm i have is definetly not a full on sativa although very exotic smelling & she finishes in 8-9weeks.... i think Chimera's advice on the Burmese is spot on... be well
