whats up fellow stoney brotha...no bleach if u use h202 3ml per gal. hygrozyme can just make it worse.. cut out everything organic from ur nutes . keep res temps down .if ur runnin uc u must have a chiller. ive battled root rot many times and won but the main thing u need to do is find out the cause of it to eliminate it. some more info like res temps what type of nutes. could it be algae instead of root rot. alot factors into it but prevention is easy lots of air in the buckets and low temps no lightleaks and no root rot u may want to read this thread to get an idea but like i said more info would be able to help ya out better. https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=55259 peace stone goodluck

one thing you can do, to help prevent rot, is put your air pumps outside the room or if your pumps have a sealed intake you can run a hose from elsewhere to the pump. . that way it feeds cooler air to your roots. does help to lower your water temps..

Physan will help, but it maybe to late. Light doses of physan as it makes water bubble up.

physan 20 would be a last resort. i kills everything and isnt reccomended for food crops. i personally would consider cuttin roots before usin physan 20 again. sam did it work for ya what dose? i still keep in in my medi kit but it really fucked shit up for me . i heard its good to use to clean ur res with instead of bleach.

It depends on how bad it is.

I started out with one ml per 10 gallons, and waited for the bubbles to subside, then added 2 ml per 10 gallons. At that point the plants stopped deteriorating and the water was crystal clear.

DWC? If so maybe the water level is too high. Keeping an air-gap between the bottom of the net pots and the water line helps prevent root.

I get good results with tap water, the chlorine in it is effective yet mild enough for roots. I do a root rinse with fresh tap at all transplants. I do a bleach water clean out between crops. So starting with healthy roots, and clean systems works here. You need to clean that system out between crops if you can salvage this one.

I would go to 50 percent fresh tap water for addback, after a complete flush to save the crop. Good luck.

Sometimes if you do an acute pH adjustment you can accidentally burn the outer tissue of the roots. Once this happens the root sloughs away the dead root material and rot can result as bacteria overwhelm the root mass.

There's always a chance your incubating in the cloner your using as well?

Hope things get better for you....don't let it get you down, you'll get it dialed.....oh, and steer clear of zymes in your UC.

Bleach 3ml - gallon on every weekly res change or add every week in between res changes if time between res changes are longer than a week, add a little more on first dose if already got the rot.

Well I dumped a shit load of phase 20 in booth systems about 25 oz in each it may kill them don't know but added water until it was high up on the pots then flushed everything than added ro water with dm gold a&b flower and zone at about 300 ppms on a 500 scale will see what happens

last 3 crops ive gotten root rot in veg and this is flood and drain. best solution was to clean the roots right out and wait and thats about it.

Watch out when using hygrozyme. It will make things worse. I would never use enzymes in the UC system. Especially if you are using zone
