We lost some ground with the ballots counted today. Difference is back up to like 4,600 or something. Not looking good considering most of the uncounted ballots are from Maricopa County, the people that keep electing Joe Arapaio. LOL

I blame you, Easy. ;)

Sometimes i wonder, with so many volunteers, and the high emotions behind debates, if some people commit voter fraud in one way or another. And if this is the case, maybe i just need to learn the detailed specifics from when the ballet goes in the box, until its counted. And if its different in each state or if there is a standard protocol. After the Gore and Bush thing, a lot of people lost faith in our voting system. Not to make this a debate of political officials. just using that as an example of when people question voter fraud.

You guys are obviously close enough, that hopefully some political re enforcements will step in to adopt some sort of legislative state amendment.

Information from the AZ

Information from the AZ

Secretary of State office...

Arizona Registered Voters: 3,146,418
Total Ballots Cast: 1,542,082
Proposition 203 received 49.74 percent of the vote on Election Day, leaving it just short of passage.
As of 5 p.m. Arizona Time, November 5th, 2010:

YES
49.82% 736,643
NO
50.18% 741,846

votes counted to date 1,478,489

1,542,082 - 1,478,489 = 63,593
This ain't gonna happen this year, I believe another one just bit the dust.
This is not good news at all for the sick of Arizona.

imho,
The time has come to advocate and educate as to Medical Marijuana' benefits to the masses (voting citizens) in preparation for the 2012 voting/election cycle.

Many would be compassionate to this Herbal medication in Arizona if they only knew (or suspected) what deep relief it brings to many, many seriously and painfully sick people such as late stage Cancer fighters whom currently Live in great fear of Felony arrest and dying in a some shitty ass prison somewhere for choosing an alternative traditional medicine such as Cannabis.
Arizona, Home of the Felony Charge for any usable amount of Marijuana.

Such bullshit, yet, The Beat Goes On...

History of Arizona Medical Marijuana propositions:

History of Arizona Medical Marijuana propositions:

Marijuana-related ballot measures voted on previously by Arizonans include:

* Proposition 200 in 1996:
Allowed doctors to prescribe drugs to seriously and terminally ill patients. The measure's significant provisions were later repealed by the Arizona Legislature.

* Proposition 300 and Proposition 301 in 1998:
The repeals by the Legislature were overturned in yet another citizen vote, but wording of the measure required a written prescription, allowing the United States Drug Enforcement Administration to threaten to revoke prescription-writing priveleges of doctors who wrote medical marijuana prescriptions.

* Proposition 203 in 2002:

An initiative failed that would have allowed a written recommendation by a doctor sufficient enough to obtain medical marijuana. ...

Y'all might just make it happen. Looking at the Az. elections results page, it's Republican all the way down to dog catcher,but 203 is hanging on a thread. We are still waiting for Attorney General results in Cal. I don't know what takes so long.We should hire some immigrant labor,on a contract basis,to help count the votes.They are inexpensive and ready available.

i see the bulk of the uncounted votes are in Maricopa(90000)
i know the reputation with the sheriff, but does anyone have any memory how this county went in prior votes?
i'm desperate for some good MJ news this season

Hindsight is 20/20 but holy fuck, if we'd have known it was gonna be so close...

I'm not sure which law determines this but I keep reading that the vote difference would have to be <200 for a recount to happen.

I would not believe them for a minute.
It would be my guess that the only reason these AZ assclowns would even allow this is to
gather information. Arizona is one of the most backward states and would never allow people legal access to weed under any circumstance. That wacky bitch governor just wants to root out the few people brave/stupid enough to operate in her state.
Sign up for this program they will check you out and shut you down.
my 2 cents
