starting up my vert grow soon and would like to know who tops their plants or lets them grow natural.any pros and cons?im thinking no to topping because they may get to bushy and not allow enough light to get through.:)

I personally do not top unless it is a strand that tends to get very very tall. Otherwise, I may pinch them to get encourage the side branches to keep developing (when vegging horizontally). I also defoliate to allow as much side branch development as possible.

Note that topping in vertical setup results in a lot slower vertical growth. I'd top the plants only if you have the time to veg em until nearly perfect height. I'd rather top the side stems at 2-3 weeks before flipping the lights. As a result you will have much bushier and evenly growing plants.
