Three ladies.
One Master Kush (A Judy Clone),
Two clones of ladies from seeds found in different bags.
One looks to be a setiva (Judette 1) and the other some indica strain (Judette 2).
I currently have no clue as to the quality of any of them.
I have three ladies in budding and I am 3-5 weeks away from Harvest and 2 more minimum curing.

The rub is that Room is tight and so with that in mind all three clones must be prepped for motherhood. I'm looking to grow a Bonsai Mom and keep her for years.
But I have room for one and the other two will eventually go to flower once I know the quality of each of them.
Here is my mom cabinet. I started out with 7 clippings and ended up with 4 clones. 2 Judys & one each Judette. The ratty judy clone is going to the flower cabinet soon. I have a 68 watt (actual) 2700K CFL in the center of them now. I am looking for slow steady growth and I intend to LST and Bonsai into something unique. Sort of a house plant that I take clippings from to clone every 2 weeks or so.

I dont need much but I want it to be quality.
Hell I might try to graft the two losers together to make

You would be better off with the 6400k lights durring veg. 2700k is better for flowering.

Agreed but till next paycheck this is what will be..
I will most likely add a second 68 watt in 5000 - 6400 K to the mix.
I want full spectrum if possible

Judy and the Judettes are all in bloom and things are looking interesting.
Judy (I am told) is a master kush and her buds just keep growing and growing. I'm gonna just keep up what I'm doing for an additional two weeks and start her two week flush then instead of right now. That would put her at nine weeks of flower and then two weeks flush. She has a skunky sweet scent and wild curly and twisted hairs that seem to have no pattern. I'll keep you posted.

Judette 1 has a metallic kind of scent. Her buds are different than judy. More rigid hairs. Like a porcupine. It's the metallic scent that has me scratching me head. Same soil, nutes and light as all others here.. Oh well we shall see. She is at least three weeks from flush time. She is basically a 4 branch baby. Out like a cross and then they all turned up.

Judette 2 on the other hand has a sweet berry like scent. I am intrigued.
I did some odd LST and lolypopping on her and now her buds are puffing up. She is a little spotty on her leaves so she gets a full flush next watering in two days.

I have clones of all three so which ever one is the best gets to be my new mother. I am thinking of grafting the two losers together and seeing what happens Possibly putting a piece of #2 on to the winner somewhere and mixing things up a bit.

Any ideas on what I might have here? Judette 1 & 2 were bag-seed from supposed sinsemilla so ???
It's so hard to not rush things...

Meth, weed is very hard if not impossible to graft and has no proven benefits.

Researched it hard when I was young, I'm old too. ;-)

But WHY? Why bother grafting? Take a clone and grow a whole new plant.

I'd take a new clone each time and not bother trying to keep a mom alive for years. Just take a clone or two and flower the mom. They can get very unwieldy when they get big. Just a thought.

Yes!
If you can graft a hops top onto a cannabis stalk and get hops that produces THC then why not mix and match the best strains into something really special.
I plan on a bonsai mom but why not a bonsai master, berry kush indica/sativa blend all in one bush?

Yes as was that intent.

I heard of a few successes but never got to sample any of it.

Anyone out there got firsthand experience with cana-brew from a grafting experiment?

I just might get a mom that I can pull 3 different strains off to clone.
Thats 3 great tastes that grow great together.

I have been reading up on Bonsai mom, creation and upkeep.
Should be able to keep her small and take clones off every 2-3 weeks.

Gonna see how much of an assembly line I can set up.
A perpetual grow of three strains with one small mom.
