I have a 90w UFO that is supposedly equal to a 400w HPS. Is the 90w UFO theoretically 4x as efficient as the 400w HPS?

Would a 180w UFO be 5.5x more efficient than a 1000w HPS? 1000 divided by 180 is 5.5x. Looking into getting a Jumbo 180w UFO...

dude the only way is to have an apple to apple conversation

check the output on each by looking for the Lumens they produce

Some light producers have been tricking the public by saying Plants use More of This type of lights output. well yea because it is less of an OUTPUT and therefore the plant can handle more of its light

The 180w LED UFO is supposed to be inline with a 600w HPS. Isnt a watt a watt? It would take 3.3 of the 180w UFO's to equal 600w of power, or an HPS light, or applaince power consumption.

Yes it will be close to 1/3 of the power consumption even if both units are pulling differently then stated. Will the yield of a 180w UFO match a 600w HID ? I don't think so.

I will let u know how I make out with the 90w UFO I am using. Its going pretty good now. The 90w UFO is supposed to be on par with a 400w HPS. If this wasnt my first grow, & if I didnt go crazy & pull off most of the fan leaves & spray her with Serenade I think I may have produced more. I didnt have a dehumidifier @ first in the tent, & I thought the plant was infected with mold or powdery mildew but I think I may have been overeacting. Does anybody know how much of a yield you'd get growing a White Widow with a 400w HPS?

I am using one of the UFO's from Prosource. I know their arent many people who like the LED's, but I was wondering if you could tell me what you think?? Is their anybody who uses LED lighting?

nevermind led lights...just get a bunch of 1000w hps lights

dont believe led claims. no way does a 90wt equal 400hps. get a real light ,save money and grow more dope.
