oh lol. I know I've had problems with my PS3 before. But I've only ever experienced it with Dragon Age: Origins and it is well known that the PS3 port of the game was buggy.

I have a 360 and love it. I really think the only difference between to is ps3 plays blue ray.
I only play MW2 online because I think games are to expensive, which leads me to my next point. I've been thinking of getting a ps3 for a blueray player, and because of the new jailbreak thats out.

I have both, and my ps3 collects dust. Bluray is no longer a good excuse to get a PS3, bluray players can be had under a $100 now days. PS3 online is free, but keep in mind you get what you pay for. The small stuff that you get on XBL like party chat makes it the more worth while if you trying to play with friends. PS3 needs more titles!!!!
Yeah xbox mods are out there but i never looked into them because of the chance of my console being banned from live.
But with the ps3 i wouldnt play online, so that wouldnt be a concern of mine.
i got an xbox 6 motnhs ago and sold it after 3 weeks , what a peice of crap
got me a ps3 2 months ago and this is a fun console
i mean i'm never gonna pay for online play and that xbox controller is just plain awful for fighting games with the wobbly D pad , plus ps3 is true HD xbox scales it up but it limited to 720p
so if you like fighting games , dont buy an xbox

I'm addicted to battlefield bad company and I will shit my pants when the vietnam expansion pack comes out.
BTW you can download movies, old ps games and other stuff with ps3 too. Not just x box. Netflix too, and hulu is coming out for it this week I heard.
I quit playing games for a long time too, and when I saw how great games have gotten I got back into it. Things have changed a lot since ps2.

i have both and a wii and the ps3 is a better deal.some games look better on xbox and some look better on ps3(mw2),the xboxs controllers wear out quicker and tend to walk on their own and you have less control over the setup.ps3 controllers last longer too and to me fps have a more fluid movement on ps3

however i am tempted to get the ps3 250gb, the G25 or G27 steering wheel (aluminium, geared, great quality, but 240 dollars + (for the wheel only)
and just the games i really want to play ie dirt f1 pro ev fifa and some others but theres only about 10-15 id play much, if that even
ie hand pick what i want - alot more expensive that way though, my preferred option in all honesty though

if you like driving games then you should get the ps3 for gran turismo 5. if you get a nice wheel the game is amazing. i bought the prologue a few years back, and bought a used logitech wheel and pedals, and it was so badass. the wheels now have a motor in it, so there is resistance and bumps and whatnot. very cool
ps3 also has a new 320gb unit with ps move for $400. then you could sell the move for 80+ on ebay.
