well heres example of using 8 600s
to exchange the hot air that will be produced just from the lights (this does not include ballasts, humidifiers or any other electronic stuff you have in your room) you would need a fan capable of 1200 CFM.

Total watts of all equipment ÷ 4 = Additional Electrical Cooling CFM

8 x 600 watt lights = 4800 = 4800 Total Watts

4800 Total Watts ÷ 4 = 1200 AEC CFM

Now you have to calculate your room CFM

Multiply Width × Depth × Height (In feet)

W × D × H = Feet Cubed

Example

3.2'ft W × 2.4'ft D × 3.5'ft H = 26.88'ft3

Find for Exchange CFM rate. We want to exchange the volume of the room 4 to 5 times a minute. I like to use 5 .

Feet cubed × 5 = Exchange CFM

26.88'ft3 × 5 = 134.4CFM

Add your total AEC CFM and add your room CFM and you will have the total CFM required (AEC CFM + CFM = Total CFM) for your room. Then buy whatever size fans you need according to your CFM needs.

Remember if your using carbon filters you will lose 20% of air flow (using a good name brand fan) cheaper fans you can lose up to 50% so make sure to add that to it.

i would suggest if you're not at the point of being capable of working out what size fan you need then you're certainly not capable of holding down a grow like that.... IT'S HARD BLOODY WORK......

at a guess without looking how its been setup id say could use one 6" vortex per 2 lights
