Long flowering Sativas Dying - a Postmortem

Hi all,
This is a Postmortem since the plant in distress is already curing…what’s left from it.
It was an AUH2 and I lost about 60% of the buds that turned yellow and dried dead… it started with few spots turning yellow and spread out to most of the plant in a matter of a day or two.
It started in week 15 of flowering

Same happened to another grow of mine – an AH1 that grew outdoors - buds started to turn yellow and die on late flowering.

Both started while I cut off the nuts to get ready for harvest.

Not sure what it is – just looks like a Sativa way of natural-death…

What are the temps and what do the roots look like if you have seen them? What is your EC reading for feeding? How many weeks is the strain supposed to go? That's crazy if it's not TB.
BTW Im far from an expert, I am just telling ya what I think it is/looks like based on my readings and minimal experience and the bit of info you provided. :)

I swear it looks like toxic salt build up or maybe the roots are just dying off and not feeding the plants. It also looks like a bad drought hit her so maybe a problem in the root system?

Temps where 23 - 33 C
While I fed her the EC was ~2000 - but it got worse when after I flushed her and cut off the nuts - for 4 weeks she got only RO water.
According to the GHS site this plant should finish in 13 weeks - but other grow reports show that it may take her more weeks to finish.

I don't think that this is an environmental issue - I grew an Hawaiian snow with this plant - cut it off in 12 weeks and it was super fine.

Besides - the same happened to my outdoors AH1 that grew in totally different conditions....

BTW,
I'm glad that you share your experience - no one have to be an "expert" to make me learn something new :thank you:
