SAGE from THSeeds

Hi my fellow icmag'ers hope everyone is doing well..Just planning my new crop and well wanted some input on a strain that I tried last year and fell in love with. The Sage from THSeeds is one of the best highs I have ever had..And well just got the opportunity to buy some Sage f2's for a very reasonable price(which i did)..So what does everyone think of SAGE??..Any expereinces..How does it grow??..Any input is appreciated

I have one special pheno. a very old one to. masssive indica budstructure but sativa growth and leaves. 9 weeks finish. very hazy

I've seen a massive and great looking SAGE plant. I've good luck with thseeds. By own SAGE experience was 7 males and 3 hermies, so if you get some beans I've used up the bad ones. Only bad experience with seeds, and I expect that occasional bag full of males, but with 3 hermies I wasn't sure what happened. Other plants were in the room as well and they didn't all go hermieville.

hey thanks for your response Jim..I loved the SAGE when i got it a year ago. Extremely massive colas..wicked resin content..and wow what a nice smell almost like salt and pepper..you could easily see the Haze influence..honestly one of the nicest smoke i ever had..the guy that grew it must have done it organically because it was just out of this world..here is the description of the strain

Because of its distinctive spicy smell and taste, this plant's Haze-y flavor and high will fool you into thinking it is a pure Haze variety. SAGE is one of my top 5 favs. She smells like BO (Body Odor) when cured, tastes very earthy hazy... DEF SCROG it though, responds very well to topping or supercrop or FIM huge yields, likes it a lil warm, huge top colas grow into the heat of the Hood seem to enjoy it. Likes to grow crockscrews or Fingers. Plant has very sativa looking leaves with very Indica looking buds.... Our Cut finishes a lil longer in 11wks but is def ready when the room smells like "Dirty Hippies" I was lucky enough to get a great clone from a friend cause my experience with THSeeds has been bad from seed in the past with mk-ultra and Heavy Duty Fruity (I wont buy anymore seeds from them because it's a crap shoot what you find in thier packs, Out of 20 mk-ultra seeds not one real keeper and every plant was different, not stable at all. same exact thing with heavy duty fruity, unstable strechy crap)

With that said SAGE is the flagship of there operation and it's what put them on the map, so i would expect the seeds to have a hint of uniformivity.... but I would not bet the farm. I wish the best of luck with yr F2's and hope you find a killer mom, if not I would look for the clone cause there is some bomb ones floating around

I havent grown sage so I couldnt give you any info on that.However I have bought some sage buds and its been the best looking herb ive smoked around here.
Here is a fat bud of what i bought.

Grew some SAGE Blue Rhino X Cherry Goddess (yep-lots of genetics packed into that one...)
I'm sure it's pretty different than the real SAGE, but anyway-
these had a strong PineSol aroma when growing. After curing a couple of weeks there was also some mintyness and some stinky dankness.
These plants were beyond sticky-they were like greasy/oily, almost gooey.
Great high, unfortunately the taste is kind of "dirty".

done her 3 times & yet to find a keeper.....shes got the goods, I'm still looking since I still have 10 or so beans from around 2005. I also have HDF & the HOG from the same time.

Oh and yes on the earthy,sandlewoodish taste, 11-12 weeks flower

Thanks so much KindBudKid and Benji thanks for your shortened list..I am for sure doing Casey and gonna make f2;s I have decided that...I have been doing research and it seems that Casey is on everyone;s want list so I should do the community a favour and make f2;s to spread around...

I am also tempeted by the ISS Benji and the Dr atomic NL I only have 3 beans lefts as I have tried twice before to germ with no luck...

I think I will start some more C-99 f2's also to cross with the Casey fathers..I want a shortened Casey(almost like Geisha to grow outside)

and YES So many seeds so little time...
