Poor sap is really out some coin because it looks like the measure isn't going to pass, at least right at the moment. Gap is closing but doesn't look good.

Guess we just keep doing what we're doing, behind the prohibitionists' backs. Hey, I can deal with that.

PHOENIX -- The medical marijuana proposition has left many Arizonan voters divided as election results filter in.
Votes are almost split down the middle on Prop. 203 with results in from 584 precincts.
Results show 21,130 more no votes than yes votes.
If it is passed, the operators of the first medical marijuana dispensary said they can open the doors a day after the election.
Proposition 203 states legalizing medical marijuana applies only to patients with diseases including cancer, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, glaucoma, and Crohn's disease, among others.
The Medical Marijuana Dispensaries of Arizona facility in North Phoenix is described as a fully functional state-of-the-art medical marijuana dispensary that the owners expect will set the standard for all future Arizona dispensaries. The state Health Department has 120 days to finalize rules for implementation of medical marijuana.
Dispensary spokesman Allan Sobol said the dispensary is intended to blend into the community and be non-offensive and non-threatening.

Andrew Myers' quote about an hour ago was that the precincts still remaining (not counted yet) are all in Pima and Maricopa counties... both counties with strong Prop 203 support. So we may wake up tomorrow to a nice surprise.

I think you're right easy. There will be a recount and I think in the case of close votes they give another 7 days for all provisional ballots to arrive in the mail, but hope is all but lost.

For now.

Hey, we go back to doing what we've been doing for the 10 or so years you and I have "known" each other online.

Keep her steady, bro.

Young people need to get off there asses and take the power from all these crusty ass blue hairs.

Not only that. But people need to lobby there local politicians, from Sheriffs, to Congress districts, to house of Rep districts, to City counsel, to County Counsel, all the way to the capital. But the more you work with local governments. The more you can change there mind, and educate them, and also ask for advice of the best way of getting a piece of legislative like this passed. By asking for assistance, and having help 100 percent of the way, the support will be astonishing. On a side not, if you got LOTS OF MONEY, where they are claiming these drug dealers are making. Why aren't they throwing money at this like candy? Oh because its all traceable. So give it to a blue collar type of person to donate. Funny how money makes the world go round.

it be nice if they actually counted ALL the california Votes. But thats the system for ya! Go AZ!!!!!! Medical MJ across the nation! And they just keep falling... Ill pray for you guys, and keep good vibes!

As of nov. 4th the difference in votes has narrowed to 3870 with roughly 300,000 left to count.

If this passes it will be by a close margin!

cheers

Counting 60,000 votes today (Thursday) brought the gap down from 7,000 to 3,800 votes.

Consider that there are 250-300,000 votes left to count.

Might work out, after all.

There was a push at the end by local media to bring up cali's attempt to legallize, and their system of handing out cards to everyone.
hopefully these votes were early on

looks like the final hope for 2010
at least it's something to hold on to, would be something if it made it over the top
would think this will be a recount situation with such a close margin
