Anyone ever found a bag of trim?

Hey everyone, I'm just curious if anyone of you have ever stumbled on to a a garbage bag full of trim such as all the stalks and fan leaves and even some small popcorn nugs sometimes. I'll just be driving and see black garbage bags on the side of the road with stalks sticking out every where and sometimes I pull over and take it home and make honey oil with it. I think this is a stupid way to dispose of cannabis trash. I personally just put it in a couple garbage bags and take it to a dumpster behind a plaza and throw it in there. I see people using this dumpster all the time there is not suspicious at all.

are you in norcal. i never see any in so cal but i dont play in trash.

It sounds like a foolish and rather legally dangerous method of disposal, unless it's LEOs themselves LOL, after a raid separating the "wheat from the chaff" so to speak.

And for that matter stopping to pick it up sounds foolish and legally dangerous -- all the legal risk with an absolute minimum of gain. A bank bag stuffed with cash on the side of the road is an entirely different matter LOL -- "a bank bag, officer? no, I don't know what your talking about. I closed out my Christmas fund for shopping."

imagine getting caught with just a big bag of trim LOL embarrasing at the least . wonder how much time for 8lbs of trim?

LOL I am aware of how bad it would be to get caught with a bag of trim. I am not playing in garbage the bags I have found are always very visible from the road and I will go back at a safe time to retrieve it. I have only collected two bags in my life and it was before I grew weed, now I have bags and bags to dispose of as well. I am in Canada and it seems like everyone grows weed up here.

A friend/neighbor that I have known for 40+ years has fallen on hard times. He said he used to find bags of good popcorn/trim in the same apartment dumpsters the last few years.

He said this year they have been spraying it with water to make it mold before throwing it away.

Some people have no use for it. Maybe it just creates more moisture and smell in their apartments than it is worth.

My roommate found a bag of trim in an alley in San Francisco around '94. It was in an alley. He was passing by and saw a good sized bag that he thought it looked strange and out of place, and joked that he thought it might be a human head or something. Whatever his reason he checked it out closer and smelled not rotting flesh but the good smell of green. He was stoked and rolled joints for some time.

A friend gave me a bag of trim , but I threw it away when he told me he sprays his plants with miticide before they flower. You don't know if someone's thrown away trim is contaminated. I wouldn't touch "found" trim.

I've gotten popped with 2lbs of trim. Sat for about an hour while these cops were trying to figure out what to bust me for. Eneded up giving me a ticket that said possesion of more than one ounce. When my court date caame around I was scared to go for my "ticket" so I called to get an extention and they said my name wasn't on the scedule and that if anything came up they would contact me. Its been 7 years.
