Late flower hermie questions

I've got a Tiki Seedbank Bella Ciao, single cola beauty, with probably about 2-3 or more weeks before she's ready. She just started putting out nanners from the top half of the plant and I don't know what to do.

I have chopped this plant early before and it isn't worth shit. I really wanted to take this girl all the way to see its true potential. If I just cut off, mash, destroy every nanner I see, can I let it mature and still get decent quality? There is only one other plant in the cab, and it's less than 1 week from harvest, so I'm not terribly worried about it; the nanners are very new and I think that I still have time before they can throw pollen (maybe I'm delusional). Am I going to ruin one or both of these plants if I do a daily search and destroy?

Any thoughts on what to do with a late flower hermie?

pluck em, you won't ruin anything. Is this the same plant you wanted us to talk you out of cutting?

Thanks Puddin. There are 2 plants. One is the beaut from the other thread that is close to harvest and has been a joy to watch grow. The hermie is my slow-growing problem child. Just trying to avoid screwing both of them up!

Your welcome man..This late into flower, you really can't. make sure to properly clean your room, wash walls, etc, so that any errant pollen from these nanners won't screw up future girls. If you have already put new girls in and they haven't really shown too many pistils, a light misting of water should kill any pollen should it escape. I don't advise misting the finishing plants though, just plucking them nanners that you can find ought to be enough, even though there will be no time whatsoever for pollen to really take.
More importantly though, do you know if the herms are from something you did, like a light leak or somehow stressing the plant, or do you think it's strain related? If it's strain realted, you may wanna think about culling her from future runs.

Thanks again Puddin; it's definitely strain related. This is my second try with the Bella Ciao and the second time it's hermied, while all others have been fine. I'm all done with the Bella Ciaos, that's for sure.
