First time ewer!! XXL tent CHRONIC

Hi and welcome to my little expiriment!

first of im not so good in english but il do my best.
This is my first time growing, not just weed but first time ewer growing any thing.

Iv spent a couple a months hanging around here and reading in to things and saving money and finally got the money and the basic knowledge to start growing i think.

so the set up is:

1 xxl tent 120x240x200cm
2x RVK Inline Centrifugal Fans 200mm 750m3/h
1x carbon filter
1x prime air controller
2x reflectors
4X 55w fluorescen light
1x large propagator
GHE micro 1 l
GHE blom 1 L
formulex 500 ml
clonex 50ml
canna ph- 1L
ADWA ph pen
ADWA ec pen
11x chronic serious seeds
1x jack herrer
+ timmers and more small things that i can't remember

my plan is to veg these babies in the tent and when they are ready fore bloom i will put in 2 ore 3 600w digital hps air cooled hoods but haven't decided yet what kind of hoods and if i'm going to use 2 ore 3 600w hps or 2x1000w hps but thats a much later question.

i will feed the babies whit Lucas formula and some formulex in the begining. want to keep it simple.

I'm a total novice on growing so i need all the help and input i can get so fell free to slap me on my fingers if im doing wrong

Okej, i put the seeds in wet paper towel on mondays and they didn't show sprout until wednesday night.
I put the seeds in 2.5" rockwool cubes soked in wanter whit a tiny bit of formulex and some ph down the get the ph to 5.6.
and to days later on friday morning the babies saw light fore the first time.

Problem so far

• can't find cable to the camera so no pictures yet
• filter and fan to heavy so i don't tink i can hang it in the tent
• need more seeds but don't know what to get
• to much noice frome the exhauste

the sound from the exhaust i know what to do about but the the weight is a bigger problem.
any suggestions how to hang the filter and fan whit out braking the tent?
Maybe the tent can handle the weight but i don´t just want to hang the shit up to find out that i didn't handle the weight.

Sit the filter on the floor!
Put a stool or box or something sturdy to lift it off the ground maybe.
Then build your self a muffler. DIY section on IC has a few posting to get you started.

Sounds like your off to a great start

mount filter outside top of tent, ducting to filter on floor or stand. duct straight up to fan.
no heat from fan continuously running...you know to run the fan continuously? yeah do that, and your odor and temps stabilize somewhat.

I have the filter on the floor right know but have to change it before bloom. take to much space.
don´t want any ting on the floor except plants when i flip to bloom so i need to hang it ore move it out..
I ain´t so handy but are going to look up some DIY mufflers and i´m going to insulate the fan and ducting as well.
The great start i don´t know think i killed 1 chronic and jack herrern, don´t know why but the cubes they where in did´t hold the water ass well as the outers. so i think they dried out.

Don´t really understand how you mean man.
should i mount the filter on the floor outside the tent and have the fan pushing true it?

right know i don´t have the vent on. just have the doors open fore the moment and a fan circulating the air.
yea i´m going to have the filter on 24/7 and fore temps i have a unit that i set the desire temperature on and minimum air exhange and it will control 2 fans, exchaust and intake.

Maybe need to built some supporting stands and put inside the tent to hang some shit in.
going to be a lot of weight in the tent when i get the lights fore bloom and I need to hang one more fan in the celling to cool the lights.

i wish you luck....seems like your trying for a huge yield first grow and it probly wont happen not trying to put you down but hey if you can make it work good on you....just going to be hard as its your first grow and your going this big.....good luck...and you always pull through the carbon filters never push through them....

Im not hoping fore a huge yield the first time but it would be fun
I don´t tink im going to be some exemption from anybody els ,
So i will probably fail with my firs grow
yea the tent is big and im planing on using much lights but still trying to keep it simple fore my self when growing.
But maybe i should wait and only start with the chronic, easier with only one strain.
trying to make sure that i don´t run in to tecnical problems while in bloom so i want to set up every ting right from the start.

I know you should pull through the filter but have sen setups when they push and it works but it ain´t as good as pulling true the filter so not an option fore me.

probably will to go and get some 2x4 and reinforce the tent so i can get every ting up in the celling.
pretty cheap and easy way to the weight problem, suggestions?

if it hasnt already been said... for $25 you can order an adjustable fan controller. you can turn your fan down to half, or even quarter speed if you want. that takes care of your exhaust noise.

thanks fore stoping by. already have a fan controller fore intake and exhaust. just need to insulate and fix a muffler.

okej so far all i have done is to plant the germenated seeds in rockwool soaked in ph water whit a 1/4 strength formulex.
After about one week after when rots were showing on al of the i replanted them to plastic cups.
just put the cub in the cup and filed it up with canna soil mix mixed with some more perlite and watered with half strength of formulex at ph 6.8 until i had water coming out of the cups.

Have the babies under one 55w fluorescen light and they seem to be going good.
don´t know if it´s right but they al just seem to have develop one proper leaf set end the others are still baby leafs.

think i have figure this out with pics so i will try to post some
coming soon problem again.

the pics are a 2 days old and they have grow a bit. will update with more pics later.
