I can honestly say that I've never seen a plant that grows quite like the KKSC. When everything else is stretching upwards, the strawberry forms a natural bush and grows outward. It's a freakin' shrub... Medium feeder and lollipopping all the branches is a necessity to avoid fluff. The reward is chunker nugs of fruity haze that are completely done 9 weeks in.
basically they are different phenotypes of the same gene pool ; strawberry fields x haze.... though there is no telling if dutch passion bred it to something, or just found a pheno in a selfed seed, or ... etc etc
Peeps in the Midwest are running what is said to be KKSC, en masse... Had some today, looked good, smelled not much, overchemmed hydro from hell... Instant "Noids."
Until I try a well grown specimen here, I cannot say if it like the one I tried and loved. Years ago at the Hemp Center in San Fran.
I Grew a pack of the Sweet Haze years ago. Kept one pheno in Mother form for a couple friends who liked it... From the "Seed company that shall go unmentioned on this site..." (for which I agree, due to gnarly personal experiences with said "breeder.").
Sweet Haze was said to be the KKSC - not by the breeders as they prob "Borrowed" it...
It was very good, regardless and Looked like NL#5 sure enough... (Cough is NL#5 X Haze, right..?)
Hard to know from a seedpack, of course, with the differing phenos that happen.
I finally got my 2 KKSC moms were I want them, tomorrow is the big day. I have been LST'ing them for what seems like forever. I should be able to take 6-8 nice cuts from each. 10 days tops in the EZ Cloner and wallah. I cant wait to run this cut. Peace pot and karma, One Love
